I'd say that Plus is an option open to people. If you really want to play the game in its intended form, don't use plus, if you fell like getting the best you can because you've earned it, do, that's my take anyway . On a side note, same goes for overweight Cores.

Yeah it really depends. I usually beat the game and the arenas without op first, and then I use it to see what I've been missing.
