The Crucible Crux Mansion - Many Will Enter, Few Will Leave (Game Start)

Rules:

There is NO talking outside of this thread unless specifically stated otherwise.

For literary purposes, if i name a player in thread by username and speak about them (usually during DAY activities) i will be using their IRL gender. if i am speaking about a player without using their username(usually during NIGHT activities) i will be using their in-game gender.
example where username sword_of_omens is male IRL and a playing as a female in-game.
DAY for example: sword_of_omens falls down a hole and lands on his ass. (username and irl gender)
NIGHT for example: the girl falls down a hole and lands on her ass. (player and in-game gender)


This game will take place in a 3 level mansion. Parties will be spilt up into groups of 6 and will enter the mansion at different entry points. Parties will move room to room, interacting with objects and other things triggering traps/rewards to either hinder or aid their progress. Not all people will have the same win condition, some may be working for their own benefit, or to make sure that you fail at yours.
Each party will have a spokesperson for that party that makes all major decisions. The initial Leader will be chosen at random, but may be changed during the day phase if enough people in the group request it.
Day stages will consist of 5 actions per group (ex: moving to a new room, interacting with items, changing a leader, etc) along with a voting stage for the house victim. The day ends when all actions for each group have been taken and a person has been voted , or deadline is reached.

At night, while the groups rest, anyone with special abilities may use them.

Voting will be done in thread by everyone for the group that they want the sacrifice to come from. During the night phase, only the group voted for sacrifice will then anonymously send in a pm on which person in their group will be sacrificed..any ties will go to RNG between the people involved in the tie.

Groups:
Each Group will have a chain of command. The leader is Chosen and remains the leader, until a new leader is chosen. Change in leadership can occur from unanimous vote (or other means). But generally will not change. The rest of the group is then numbered (1,2,3,etc) with the highest number being considered "Low man on the Totem". At the start of the day, everybody will drop down 1 number, and the highest number will revert back to the 1 spot.

as you can see, everyone has moved down a spot, except for the leader, and the bottom spot moved up to the top.

Groups may not contain more than 6 players at any time (unless otherwise stated).

Once a group is down to only 2 people, the leader loses his tiltle and they become leaderless.
If a two man team is required to sacrifice to the house, voting for victim at night will then be done by Leaders of the other groups by PM

Leaders:
You have been chosen as a leader. Do not let your team down. As a leader you will have immunity from being voted for House victim at night. You get first dibs on any items found. You decide when to leave a room, and you decide what objects to interact with. Participation is a much needed necessity if you want to succeed. If you are slacking your group may vote to replace you.

Special Actions available to you:

1. Moving through an exit: To move through an exit, you must have at least 1 action available. To move through an NW exit, in thread type in bold letters : Go NorthWest , OR Go NW

2. Interacting with an Object: Certain rooms contain Interactive objects which require searching, opening, or just a closer look. Interactive objects will be listed. To Interact with an object, you must have at least 1 available action. In thread, type in bold letters Interact with (Object). Low man will then interact with the object for you.

3.Taking an Item: Sometimes you might see an item left around. To take an item, you must have at least 1 action available. In thread type in bold letters : Take (Item) The low man will then physically pick up the item for you. At this time, you may choose to keep it for yourself, or let Low Man keep it. If you decide to keep it, you must give Low Man one of your other items/objects. No extra actions will be used for this particular type of exchange.



Low Man on the Totem:
You are the go-fer, the workhorse, the one to get their hands dirty. You will be the one physically interacting with objects (At your leader's request) and putting your neck out on the line.

Special abilities available you:

1. Special ability : If you pick up an item at the request of the leader, he will get first pick on whether he wants the item or not. If he wants the item, while already in possession of an item, he must give you an item in return. If he decides he does not want the item picked up, you get to keep it.




Actions available for ALL players

Day Actions available to you:

1. Examining Objects/items: Examining an object/item does NOT use an action. It is a quick look at something that may have caught your eye. To examine something in the room, in bold letter, type : Examine (or Look at) (item/object) . Sometimes Interactive Objects are hidden and require you to examine them first. Once examined, they may then become Interactive Objects/items.

2. Dropping an item : Sometimes, you may want to drop an item. To drop an item you don't want, you must have at least 1 action available. In thread, in bold letters, type: Drop (Item). You will then Drop it.

3. Give Item: Sometimes, you may want to give an item to a team mate. To Give an item within your team, you must have at least 1 action available. Give (item) To (Player's name). You may give as many items as you like to another player at no additional action cost as long as it is during the same transaction and with the same player.

4. Trade Items: Sometimes you may want to trade items with a teammate. To trade items you will need at least 1 action available. In thread, type in bold letters Trade (Item) to (Player's name). The other player may then also, type in bold letters: Trade (Items) to (Player's Name). You may trade as many items as you like to each other without additional cost as long as it is in the same transaction with the same person.

5. Trade Items With other Group : Sometimes you may want to trade items with another group. Both groups must have at least 1 action available, AND be in the same room. In thread, type in bold letters Trade (Item) to (Player's name from other group). The other player may then also, type in bold letters: Trade (Items) to (Player's Name). You may trade as many items as you like to each other without additional cost as long as it is in the same transaction with the same person.

6. Changing your leader : To initiate a change of leadership, you must have at least 1 action available. In thread, in bold letters, type: Request Leader Change: (Player's Name), with the name being who you want to be leader. The action will not be used unless someone else Votes as well. Once 2 votes are placed the action is used and official voting for leadership begins. Once a majority is met within the group, the change takes place and effect immediately. If no majority is met, the Leader stays the same and 1 action is lost.

7. Vote for Group to Be Sacrificed: During the day, place a vote on the Group you want to be Sacrificed to the House. This Does Not use an action.

Balcony Entrance on the Top Floor
This is it…Your group gathers together outside the mansion. You want every advantage you can get…So you decide not to take the standard "let's go through the front door" approach. Your team circles the house looking for a better way in and spot a balcony up on the second floor. There is some lattice work running up the wall leading to it and, after talking it over with the group, you decide to make that your entrance. Everyone climbs up one by one to the balcony where you see a sliding glass door to what appears to be a bedroom. Grinning with excitement and anticipation, you check to see that door is unlocked. You enter the house and as the last of your team goes in, the door slides shut behind you, locking with a audible click. It has begun....


Master Bedroom
You assume that the room you have walked into is the Master Bedroom. An oversized bed lies against the Western wall. Strangely, the bed looks as if it has been recently slept in. A large floral print comforter lies rumpled on the bed, covering some black sheets. Adjacent to the bed on both sides are large nightstands with mirrors. A Vanity is located on the Eastern wall. On one of the walls is a large portrait.

Examine: Painting
You take a closer look at the portrait. It is a large painting of a man and woman. Strangely, the faces are blurry so you can't make out any discerning features. The man stands in a Dark Blue suit which has a red starburst over its kerchief pocket. He is wearing red dress shoes, and red gloves. The girl in the portrait next to him is wearing a red dress with a dark blue floral print on it. She also has on a pair of dark blue high heels, and is wearing dark blue gloves. The caption on the bottom of the portrait says "Getting Dressed for Bed"
Examine: Comforter(bed)
The bed looks as if someone had recently slept in it. There is not much else of interest about the bed.

The caption simply reads "Getting Dressed For Bed"
However, you can't help but feel that this is important in some way.
Examine : Vanity
The vanity has a large mirror and several drawers. Nothing seems out of the ordinary.
Examine : Right Night Stand
The small bedside night stand is made of a fine wood.
Examine : Left Night Stand
The small bedside nightstand is made of fine wood.
Examine : Black sheets
The sheets are a deep black and cool to the touch.
Interact with : Vanity
after checking carefully through the drawers, The vanity seems to hold nothing of interest..
Examine North Exit
The doorway to the north looks to lead into a large bathroom.
Examine South Exit
The south exit appears to lead into a hallway. You also notice along the southeast wall a doorway that you didnt see before..it appears to be a large walk-in closet.
Examine: Under Bed
You find nothing interesting under the bed.
Interact with: Left Night Stand
After a quick check of the drawers, The left nightstand seems to be empty.
Interact with: Right Night Stand
CHKFLIP checks the nightstand for anything useful. Amongst the torn papers of chickenscratch you find a silver coin. A gypsy is engraved on it.

The Sliding glass door out to the balcony on the East is closed and locked.

you all hear a voice over some loud speakers throughout the house

"Welcome all, as you may have seen, the doors were locked behind you. Do not be alarmed...this is not to keep you in, but to keep unwanted trespassers out, yes? Please keep in mind that the great Crucible himself wanted this to be a challenge of peers. So please, during the day, vote for a group that you would not want inside the house.
During the night, that group will then decide what member they wouldn't mind losing...and that individual will then disa..i mean, leave the house, quietly and safely, of course, yes?"

Loki : Interact with: Projector (1 action)

As you approach the projector, it suddenly sprouts to life. The large reels begin to sputter and move.
The curtains at the North end of the wall slowly open up to reveal a large white screen. What appears to be an old home movie begins playing on the screen.
It looks to be a black and white silent movie. A doctor in somewhat stained uniform is seen operating on a patient, while a man in a top hat and coat-tails stands beside him watching with a smirk.
Suddenly, the patient begins to lift one of his arms, hand outstretched, as if looking for help. The doctor stops his procedure and looks at the arm. .
With one hand, he casually reaches over and slowly lowers his patient's arm, while using his other hand to reach into his nearby his surgical cart to grab a large mallet.
He then proceeds to brutally bludgeon the patient repeatedly in the head spraying bits of blood and skull everywhere.
The camera slowly pans out backward and the man with the top hat begins to tremble with laughter while slowly shaking his finger back and forth at the camera.
The picture suddenly goes blank and the projector stops.

Looking about the room, you notice that because the curatins were closed earlier, they were hiding a doorway to the north

the drawer looks fairly non-descript, perhaps that is why you didn't notice it at first...it appears to be unlocked...opening it will require an interaction.

The huge carpet is worn and faded. You notice one of the corners turned in underneath itself, as if it was lifted and carelessly dropped.

The sitting bench looks rather comfortable. You happen to notice small hinges on the back of the seat. It looks as if the bench actually opens up as a storage box.

The coat rack seems to be missing something, as it is disturningly empty.

yep...rules on page 1 says that any member of the group can examine anything they see in the room. if it's in the description of the room, it can be examined. no action points are used for this.

On a whim, you decide to check underneath the rug on the floor. Rolling up the carpet, you find a Trap Door. You pull on the latch, but find that it is locked. It appears a key is required to open it.

Leaving Theater Room (North Exit) (1 action)

Trophy Room

A musty odor stings your nose as you enter into the next room. The room itself looks to be a hunter's paradise. There are taxidermied animals of all sorts arranged about the room in different poses.
A wolf looks as if it is about ready to leap on an unsuspecting rabbit, a large buck stands alert as a nearby doe is feeding on a patch of grass.
There are a good 20 or so other animals, all extremely lifelike, all looking to be frozen in acts of everyday wildlife. The walls all have different types of animal heads mounted to them ranging from what appears to be wild boars, to a giant buffalo head.
You also notice a mannequin standing off to the side with it's left arm stretched out in front of it, its hand is palm-up and slightly cupped. The other arm is also lifted up, but is closer to the body with the elbow is bent and index finger slightly extended. The head of the mannequin is cocked to one side. A large elephant takes up a large space in the center of the room.


Examine : Buffalo Head
You take a closer look and inspect the large Buffalo Head on the wall. Strange, inside the open mouth of the Buffalo looks to be 2 quarters.
Examine : Elephant
On a hunch, you check out the elephant more closely. The hide feels lifelike, and you are curious as to whether or not this was a real elephant at one time or just a very good likeness. You circle the elephant, noting the details, but nothing seems out of sorts.Maybe if you tried interacting with it?
Examine: Mannequin
The mannequin stands in a strange stance, perhaps it is missing something?
Interact with : Buffalo Head
Pedigree reaches inside the Buffalo's mouth and takes the 2 quarters.
Interact with : Elephant
You touch the trunk and it seems to give way a little. You push a little harder, but it doesn't move much more than the few inches or so from the initial push. You pull back on it, and it easily swings back towards you and extends down. You hear a clicking sound from behind the elephant.
Examine : Elephant
You deecide to investigate the noise and go the back of the elephant. Upon closer examination, you see a small hole the size of your fist, right below the elephant's tail. You cannot see into the hole, however you could probably reach into it.
Examine Mannequin Hands
The way the mannequins hands are positioned, you are certain that they should be holding something.
Interact with Elephant Hole
feeling a bit embarrASSed (pun intended) you reach your arm into the hole. It's fairly deep and covers up to your elbow. Reaching around inside, you find something. You pull it out and see what you have. You have a piece of paper with the numbers : " 1 , 6 " on it. The right edge of the paper is torn , whereas all of the other edges are straight.
Interact with : Mannequin
you mess with the mannequin looking for any hidden items or switches. Unfortunately you find nothing. You can't help but feel something is missing from the mannequin.

The watch seems to have stopped at 3:29 pm. You can't help but feel that this is significant somehow.
The inscription on the underside of the watch says : "My Secrets" will be revealed, it just has to be at the right time"

The doorway you enter from is actually a large portrait that silently swings shut behind you.
As you walk into the next room, you cannot help but stop and stare in wonderment at all of the beautiful paintings that line the walls. Hundreds of them, with no two alike in size or color. Some painting are the size of a stamp, while others reach fom floor to ceiling. One in particular, a large painting of a woman, stands out among the others. Along the floor in each corner of the room lies a pedestal with a small statuette placed on top. The center of the room contains an extravagant golden chest. Encased in glass, lying on top of the chest on a velvet cushion, is a sceptre. It appears to be King Cornelius' Sceptre!!! That's one of the fabled Treasures you are looking for! It appears to be missing the giant diamond that is supposed to be set in its top.

Examinr Scepter
The Golden scepter lies on a velvet cushion, encased in glass. It stands about 2 and a half feet in length. Carvings of faces (some distorted in pain, some in ecstasy)are etched along the length of the rod. The only thing missing is the Giant Diamond that sits at the top of the scepter. The chest that the pillow lies on is a heavy golden chest.
A closer look at the chest reveals an inscription that reads:
"The Beast Devours the Flower
The Flower Destroys the Water
The Water Quenches the Fire
The Fire Burns The Beast
Such is the Cirlcle of Life"
On the other side of the chest are 2 red buttons. Each button has an etching of a snake that goes all the way around it (clockwise on the right button, and counter-clockwise on the left button) and the snakes both look to be eating their own tails. Above both buttons, stamped in big red letters, is the word, "DANGER"
Examine south exit
A swimming pool can be seen through the Southern Exit.
Examine portrait of woman
You walk over to the East wall where the portrait is located. The very oversized painting is of a beautiful woman dressed in red, and spans from the floor to the cieling. She is standing next to a low wooden fence, and is holding a red umberlla above her head, using it for shade. On the other side of the fence is a brown and white horse, grazing. Looking at directly underneath the painting you notice some scrapes along the floor as if something was dragged across it. The pattern of the scrapes almost makes it look like a door can be opened here.
Examine corner statuettes
The NE statue is the bust of a man with a strong cheekbones and a high nose. He is facing the SW corner of the room. His hair falls to his shoulders in wavy locks. The name plate says: Hans Ember, Founder of the Secret Book SocietyThere is a handle and crank sticking out of the base of the pedestal.

The NW statue is the bust of what looks to be a young woman. She is facing the SE corner of the room. She has long flowing hair and rather large eyes. The name plate says: Violette Dannigan, Head Secretary of the Secret Book SocietyThere is a handle and crank sticking out of the base of the pedestal.

The SW statue is the bust of what appears to be an angry bald man. He is facing towards the NE corner. The nameplate states: Grant Palomino, Head Treasurer of the Secret Book Society. There is a handle and crank sticking out of the base of the pedestal.

The SE statue is the bust of an elderly woman. She is facing the NW corner. She is wearing a pair of square glasses and looks as though she is concentrating on something. Her nameplate reads: Jenna Ford, Head Chair and Librarian of the Secret Book Society. There is a handle and crank sticking out of the base of the pedestal.

Interact with : clockwise snake button
Mazx , you step forward and carefully push the red button.
A loud buzzer is heard, and before they you can even move or figure out what is going on, a large glass case drops from the ceiling surrounding you. Gas slowly begins to seep from the bottom of the case. You have a pretty good feeiling that it's not the type of gas you want to be breathing.
Everyone immediately begins pounding on the glass, with little to no effect...
gas slowly begins to rise inside the cage....
Turn the SW statue to the NW
Smell the Chiken turns the crank of the SW statue. It begins to rotate the face. He stops it when the statue faces NW
(a soft click is heard)
Mazx begins coughing harder
Turn the NW statue to the SE
hmmm...it appears that the satue is already facing in that direction....
Mazx's coughs turn to wheezing....
Turn the SE statue to the NE
Smell the Chiken turns the crank of the SE statue. It begins to rotate the face. He stops it when the statue faces NE

Mazx's stumbles to his knees holding his throat.
Turn the NE statue to the SW
hmmm..it appears the statue is already facing in that direction.
As Mazx falls to the ground the glass cage silenty lifts and goes back up into the ceiling. The gas dissipates into the larger room.
Everyone rushes over to Mazx to see if he is ok. Slowly, but surely he comes to...
you also notice that the red clock-wise snake button has turned green
Interact with: Painting
On a whim, you check to see if the painting is securely fastened to the wall. Unfortunately, it does not budge. After checking very carefully for a hidden panel or switch, you find nothing. Maybe it opens remotely?
Interact with Green Button
After another questionable glance back at the group, a leery Mazx presses the green button. Upon doing so, the glass case silently opens opens up and reveals the Scepter for your taking! You now have 1/2 of the fabled treasure : King Cornelius's Sceptre! Now all you have to do is find the Diamond to make it complete!
Interact with Red Button
Smell the Chiken pushes the red button. A loud buzzer is heard, and before he can even move or figure out what is going on, a large glass case drops from the ceiling surrounding him. Gas begins to seep from the bottom of the case...
Shit….not again...
Interact with Green Button
Smell the Chiken quickly pushes the green button hoping that the case will rise again like it did last time. Unfortunately nothing happens. The gas continues to rise. Smell the Chiken begins to cough.
Examine Smell the Chiken
STC is stuck inside a large cage of thick glass. There is gas rising from the floor which is causing him to cough. He stops to give you a dirty look because you are standing around watching him. The gas continues to rise and STC begins to cough uncontrollably.
Examine South exit
Beyond the south exit you can see a large swimming pool.
Turn SW statue NE
Skye runs over to the statue and turns the crank until the statue face NE. A small click is heard. Smell the Chicken is coughing uncontrollably.
Turn NE statue SE
Skye runs over to the statue and turns the crank until the statue face SE. A small click is heard. Smell the chiken falls to his knees holding his throat.
Turn SE statue NW
Skye runs over to the statue and turns the crank until the statue face NW. A small click is heard. Smell the Chicken feebly knocks on the glass. Everyone looks on in horror as STC falls over to the floor and begins to spout blood from his eyes and mouth. After a few minutes of harsh spasms, Chiken's body finally comes to rest, lifelessly on the floor.

Team PINKPLE , it appears the other teams think you might have 1 person too many...it seems that one of you will have to leave the house tonight...safely of course...not to worry...we'd hate to have to tell your family members of your untimely death...ahahha, i jest, surely...all will be quite well....
Now get some rest, i'm sure you all have treasure to find in the morning...and whatnot..."

Mazx begins coughing harder

Turn the NW statue to the SE
hmmm...it appears that the satue is already facing in that direction....
Mazx's coughs turn to wheezing....

Turn the SE statue to the NE (1 action)
Smell the Chiken turns the crank of the SE statue. It begins to rotate the face. He stops it when the statue faces NE
(a loud audible click is heard)
Mazx's stumbles to his knees holding his throat.


Turn the NE statue to the SW
hmmm..it appears the statue is already facing in that direction.

As Mazx falls to the ground the glass cage silenty lifts and goes back up into the ceiling. The gas dissipates into the larger room.
Everyone rushes over to Mazx to see if he is ok. Slowly, but surely he comes to...

"ugh...my head..."

It appears Mazx is a bit worse for the wear, but he is alive and able to walk...



A voice is heard throughout the room:


"Hello fellow Adventurers!! see what a little teamwork can do? I told you that you had nothing to worry about. He was perfectly safe. yes, of course he was...well i hope you have learned a valuable lesson....happy Treasure Hunting!!"



You also notice that the red "clock-wise" snake button has now turned green.

On a whim, you check to see if the painting is securely fastened to the wall. Unfortunately, it does not budge. After checking very carefully for a hidden panel or switch, you find nothing. Maybe it opens remotely?

After another questionable glance back at the group, a leery Mazx presses the green button. Upon doing so, the glass case silently opens opens up and reveals the Scepter for your taking! You now have 1/2 of the fabled treasure : King Cornelius's Sceptre! Now all you have to do is find the Diamond to make it complete! Loki may take the sceptre or let Mazx hold it.


A voice is heard over the speakers:


"Hello fellow adventurers!! i see you are doing quite well!! Looks like an easy task getting treasure, yes? I have always had total faith in your abilities! of course!! Oh....hmm... Looks like you might be missing something there..Have no fear i am almost certainly positive it will be as easy finding it, as it was for you to get the sceptre! Of course it will!! Happy Hunting!"

Loki keeps the scepter and gives Mazx the quarters (no action needed)

entering: Music Room

You enter into a large room dedicated to music. There is an elegant grand piano showcased in the center of the room. Along one of the walls is a Trumpet. Next to the Trumpet is a violin, and on the other side of the violin is a harp, all encased seperately in glass.

Examine: Piano
The piano sits on a large white pedestal in the center of the room. It is an elegant white and sits, beckoned to be played. The songpage holder is empty, and the only flaw you find with the piano is that it appears 2 of the piano keys are missing.
Examine: Violin
The violin sits magnificently on a small red cushion under its glass. The plaque below the violin is missing.
Examine: Trumpet
The trumpet sits magnificently on a small red cushion under its glass. The plaque benath it reads "Simon Belmont's Trumpet - The Esteemed Mr Belmont played this trumpet in the Broadway Musical Rise of the Peasants"
Examine: Harp
The harp sits magnificently on a large white pedestal. The Plaque below it reads "Gwendolyn's Harp - It is said that when Gwendolyn of Blackwater Plains played this harp, the world wept with joy"
Examine: North exit
The Northern door is shut. It is unlocked, so you may exit that way.
Examine: East wall Northern exit
the strange room beyond appears to be mostly empty.

you can see what appears to be a bathroom through the doorway.

leaving Master Bedroom (Northern Exit) (1 action)





entering: Master Bath


You walk into a rather sizeable bathroom. Expansive mirrors line the walls. At the end of the room, lying empty, is a large bathtub that looks like it could easily fit your whole party. Attached to the back of the tub is what appears to be a pretty large shower, encased in misty glass. Along one of the walls lies a double sink, with some cabinets underneath. You also notice a small dial on the wall. It looks like a timer of some sort.

Examine: Mirrors
the mirrors have fine cracks running along them.
Examine: Bathtub
The huge bathtub lies empty. You can see holes in the sides for airjets, and the faucet and knobs are in pristine condition. A closer look at the airjets reveals something stuck in one of them. It's too dark in the hole to make out what exactly.
Examine: Back of Tub (Shower)
The shower door is closed and is obscured by the misty glass. You would have to interact wuth the shower to see more.
Examine: Glass of Shower
It is a misty glass. You see what appears to be a small shadow at the bottom of the shower through the glass, but it is hard to make out what.
Examine: Double Sink
The porcelain sinks are cracked and broken. You are pretty sure they do not work.
Examine: Cabinets
The cabinets are unlocked and may be opened.
Examine: Small Dial/Timer
Looking at the dial, it appears to be the controls to the airjets of the bathtub.
Examine: Walls
The walls are a plain white paint..except for the occasion smear of red/black, there is nothing note-worthy.
Examine: South Exit
The Master Bedroom can be seen through the South door.
Examine: West Exit
To the west is a white room.
Examine bathtub drain
The drain is too dark to see down.
Examine Faucet and knobs
They are in such good condition, that you are pretty certain that if you turned them on, water would come out.
Interact with Faucets
You check bathtub, but it's empty…you turn the knobs and water shoots out of the faucet. After a few moments, uou realize the drain must be clogged somewhere down below, because the water starts to quickly fill up the bathtub. You turn the water off, and the the level of the tub stays the same.
Interact with Dial
ownedbyasmartbomb turns the dial and a large humming is heard from the bathtub…you see air bubbles rise from the tub as the air jets are turned on. Suddenly a plastic ball pops up onto the surface of the water. It looks like it has something inside.
Examine Ball
You take a closer look at the ball. It is a small plastic ball that is made up of 2 pieces. It should easily pop apart. The ball is small enough that it probably would have fallen down the drain had the water not been in the tub. Inside the ball looks to be a Black Onyx Ring
Examine Tub Drain Pipe
It is too dark to see down.
Interact with Ball
ownedbyasmartbomb , takes the ball out of the water. He easily pops it apart and takes out the Black Onyx Ring

The ring has a black band and a large Black Onyx stone set on it.
It slides comfortably on your finger.

ownedbyasmartbomb open the shower door. Inside the shower on the floor, he finds a small Bobblehead figurine. It is a a man in a suit with a briefcase.

You walk into what appears to be a Library room of sorts. Each wall has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves lined from end to end.
A number of books lie scattered all across the floor. In the center of the room is a table with a small cabinet placed on top.

Examine: Cabinet
Upon further examination, you realize the cabinet is really an Index Card Catalog for the library. One of the drawers is pulled out and open to a particular Index card.

(Titled N - Z : Fiction)
This bookcase is missing a number of books. Most of the ones left on the case are too old and worn to be legible.
Examine:Northern Wall Bookcase
(Titled A - M : Fiction)
This bookcase is full and seems to be missing only one book. Spots to the left and right of the missing book respectively read, "Anger and Understanding it" , by Gerald Crowley…and "Into The Depths" by Micah M Dawry

(Titled N - Z : Non Fiction)
This bookcase is missing a number of books. Most of the ones left on the case are too old and worn to be legible.

Searching about the floor you come across many books. A few catch your eye that are worthy of noting…

Guffa picks up "Passages". Strange, opening the book, the pages appear to be empty. BBB, may take the book, or let Guffa keep it.

Drachbo thoroughly check the catalog for any hidden switches. Unfortunately he finds none. Maybe the card that is exposed has deeper meaning?
Interact with Southern Bookcase
Drachbo searches the Bookcase for "Heaven and Hell" but when he gets to the spot of where it should be, he notices it missing. It appears to be part of a Trilogy, as there are 2 other books in the series. The two other books in the series are "Alpha and Omega" , and "The Beginning of the End". "Heaven and Hell" seems to be the only book missing.
Interact: Northern Bookcase
Guffa95 hands the book to Drachbo, who then proceeds to the Northern Bookcase. Upon placing the book in its rightful place, You hear a loud click. With an earsplitting creak, the Bookcase begins to move Eastwards, revealing a secret staircase behind it leading upwards.

The staircase spirals up to what you assume to be the next level of the house.
Examine: Ghosts, and the Afterlife
The book has a deep blue cover, and is authored by Francesca G Hollywood. The back paragraph hints at revealing the secrets of the afterlife and how to ward against them. The book can be picked up and taken, howver, it will cost 1 action to do so.
Examine: A Deathrap of Curses
This book was writeen by Anonymous. You secretly wonder if it is one "those" types of books. It has some dark staining on the cover, but a look at the back cover states that this book is about horrible curses. The book can be picked up and taken, howver, it will cost 1 action to do so.
