You're not wrong. I'm not at all a huge fan of these 48 hour night phases. If people aren t getting their abilities in on time, it's their own damned fault. No use modifying the 'usually pretty concrete game mechanics like phase lengths' to pander to people not submitting abilities.

I mean, if Chiken were to say he's tagging on phase extensions because he's busy with life, that's one thing. But to make 48-hour nights for increased ability usage? Slowing the game waayy down. Hopefully this is the last one like this, and things'll get back to normal lengths.

Actually, for this one, yes. Just got back from a basketball game. We won by around 40. Two more games like that and we win Districts. The way it is looking, we'll have a write-up sometime tomorrow morning.

After the events of the day, ending in the death of a town rebel and a member of an individual uprising, the people of Funky Town were again at a loss for words. As the night wore on, some grew restless for the morning light, for the safety of day, for the latest news on those who perished during the darkness. They wouldn't have to wait long now.

He sat in his lab, hoping to finally get his report back from his findings last night. He waited eagerly, when he heard another knock on his door. Annoyed, he hopped over to answer it. A man with an afro walked in.

"Well well well mother*bleep*er. Rumow is that you are one bad cat, throwing around accusations and shit that may not be true. Now, as any mother*bleep*er would ask himself, why the *bleep* should you get away with that? A mother*bleep*er could have died in vain because of you."

"Excuse me, sir. In a few moments I may have confirmation on one of the suspects in the recent murders."

"And what's to say that you're not just making shit up? Trying to get a mother*bleep*er killed for your own interests."

"Sir, I need you to calm down and-"

The man was dead. The man with the afro walked out, thinking he had done right. Thinking, he had done right.

The large man went out to his target, hoping to keep them safe in the night. He was unfamiliar with this individual and so were the others, but he had decided he must still go out. A man walked up to him.

"Hello, how are you doing?"

"I'm, um..."

"Don't know what you're doing? I sure knew what I was doing. I did it all, all me, I'm the best."

The man talked to the large man all night about how he was the best and did it all himself. The large man didn't believe him.

He was just playing around, shooting it up, when he saw a someone walk onto his home floor. He looked puzzled, for the intruder was not dressed properly and carried with him nothing more than a microphone. A tune was heard, and then the man started talking.

"Hit it, hit it, yeah, ugh.

I, throw, bills, high.
To the, strip, pers, high.
Be, in, my crew.
Caught, Pi, ka, chu."

The man was even more confused now. Did that last line consist of nothing more than the name of a Pokemon? The intruder was smiling, so he seemed pleased with himself. Did he actually think that was good? However, the man was caught up in the instrumental tune he heard. He followed the intruder away.

He had done well in that performance a few days ago. His words were marvelous, he thought, and he grabbed the attention of everyone. If this plan does work out, then he would be able to witness this everyday. No more music that was inspiring or talented; just songs that would make everyone stand blankly and ponder what they had just heard.

She saw the glee on his face as she pulled the trigger.

"That man was so refudiating."
