It's alright. A little boring, really. But the boringness is outweighed by the usefulness said role posseses. So I can't complain too much.

I'm a Jack of all Trades, and used my investigate to check out Olivier le Fou. According to the write-up, it looks like only one investigation (other than what appears to be the Forensics) went through, though not on my target.
Simple, redirect/bus. I also didn't receive confirmation that my target was town or not, and upon asking StC he gave me the result. Figured that meant that was me on the dead guy. So when bloodyomen jumped out as that investigator, you can see my confusion.
I messed up, and many apologies, bloodyomen. While I can assure that I am town, I won't be shocked if you decide to lynch me next day.
mazx - You asked if I witnessed a murder. Assuming I'm the character investigating KingSpud (which I honestly though, guess not), I did witness a murder. It was a play on words, because I didn't want you to make me out myself this early. I did witness a murder in the write-up, and I was sure he was scum. And I was wrong.

So Sleeping has a kill. While that could be part of his JOATs ability, that would leave a gunshot kill from night one unaccounted for last night. Coincidence? Perhaps, but it doesn't sit right with me.
Sleeping's actions during the BO mislynch struck me as odd anyway. I judge Sleeping as far too good a player to get tricked by and action not showing up in the writeup, since we all know not all actions are shown to begin with. Then to proceed to counterclaim an investigator off of something that flimsy is a major red flag. I followed along because I was taking things as SN claiming the investigator, with BO being caught scum and trying to out the real investigator while being lynched, for his teammates. Apparently I gave everyone too much credit.
So,

JOAT is an easy role to fake. Claim a random investigation that was redirected so you don't know the target early on so that the town ignores you for the rest of the game, if someone catches you killing someone you just write it off as part of the JOAT ability pool.
...No bbb, I'm not faking an investigation. I told you I investigated Olivier le Fou, and thought I was redirected. The fact that bloodyomen was town means I was not, and the result I got was for Olivier. Town.
Pardon me for throwing the term around, but assuming I wouldn't get tricked because I'm "too good a player"? Could we possibly metagame any more? Keep in mind I'm still in my single digit number of games, and I haven't had a good proactive role in any of them aside from DK Mafia. I'm still fairly new to dissecting write-ups, mistakes happen.quote Loki

N1; Investigated. Honestly didn't matter who, because everybody had equal chances of being scum. Ended up settling with Olivier, and got a town result. I already explained why I was convinced omen was scum, so I'm not going to repeat that.
N2; Killed. Beta was giving off vibes that was apparent to more than one person, self inclusive. So I killed him. I took out what appears to be the mafia don, yet I'm being accused of being scum. Heh.

If you think I'm scum, wouldn't that mean there has to be two scum groups? Where there were two kills on mafia last night, that would place the SK at one and myself at the other (assuming I'm scum). Or, assuming I'm SK, a secondary scum must've killed the other mafia member?
You're banking pretty hard on that. I have no reason to believe there's two scum groups.

It wasn't playing the players, it was complementing you for a bold scum move, since the other option is that you really didn't think at all last phase.
