After the odd events of today, people had questions burning inside of them. Some people discussed things quickly during the walk back to their places of stay. Not much could be done, however, for the preparations for the eventful night had to take place.

The large man watched over the woman as she personally delivered her next gift. She saw the man, and handed him the pretty package.

"Thanks sista', but I don't think I'm gonna need this tonight."
"Well, you can never be sure about these things. Why don't you keep it, just to be safe."
"A'ight, then."

She walked away. The man had nothing going for him tonight, but this wouldn't mean he would sleep soundly in his bed...

He was looking for a man in particular. He did not the feeling was mutual. Once they crossed paths, the man began to talk to him.

I'm cool, I'm awesome.
Got money when I fuuuu-.
Come with me, Miami.

Did, did he just count one two six four? Did he just confuse three with six? And does he know Indy is most likely to take Luck in the draft, way before Miami get to pick? However, with all these questions, the man did enjoy the bass and the drums. He went with him.

He waited patiently for the night's results. So far they have been inconclusive. As he paced back and forth, a man entered his room.

"So, how are you tonight?"
"Fine, just waiting for a message"

The man picked up the other man's phone.

"On this thing? Say I was the face that-"

SMASH!

The phone broke as the man dropped it nonchalantly.

"Whoops, butter fingers. Usually I can get away with that. Anway..."

As the man tried to find another way to get the message, the personal space invader talked his ear off, all revolving around himself.

He walked with a limp in his step as a new member of this group. He thought he heard the sound of rotor-blades. Startled, he looked behind him, and saw a bullet coming right towards him, hitting him in the head.

"Oh, and he was such a maverick."

Times to take chances were over. He was ready tonight. He put on his war paint, tomahawk in hand, and went onto the roof of his complex. Sure, he was mixing up historical facts, but he allowed it. He coiled his arm back, ready for the throw.

"FREEDOM!"

He tossed. It came down at the local library, where a man who was used to teaching kids to read took one in the brain.

Run. All he could do was run. He couldn't stop running. He saw someone in the distance. He would run to them, and that would be the end of them. They knew too much.

And this man took it in the chest. He ran away, satisfied. However, his victim wasn't all the way dead yet. He was just mostly dead.

The man had waited patiently for the better half of the week. He could wait longer, perhaps. Tonight he couldn't sleep. He had been watching a tribute show to a late late night show host when he heard a knock on his door. A little cautious, he answered it. When he opened his door, he found a man covered in blood, barely holding out.

"Oh my God! I'll get you an ambulance right away."

"There's no time fo' an ambulance. I've been watching you, and I know you have it in you. You must carry out my destiny. I can tell by the way you walk and the way you conduct yourself that you have it in you. Take this, and finish the job I have set of putting this place at peace."

He stared down at the man who expired before his eyes. Did he have it in him? He took the badge and the gun from his dead hands, and went back inside. He held both items up to the mirror, and then looked at himself. He could easily imagine himself just like the man on his stoop.
