Music Mafia III - Judgment Day [Game Thread 4]

Oh good, I'm still here. Barely.

So I guess this doesn't matter much now, but I figure I might as well explain why I acted the way I did Day 3.

First, let me take you back to a little game called Neo Mafia 3. I drew a Hider in that game, but instead of the type of Hider I'm familiar with, this one basically used people as a human shield for everyone else's targets. So I decided I would try and get scum to kill me, so that I could hide behind OTHER scum, therefore getting them killed.

Now, on Day 2, we learned of the Hell alignment, and once it was thought that we had a Cult out there, I added a bit of an extension to my plan - get the Cult to try to recruit me. I'd still target people that I thought were scum - if the Cult tried to recruit a mafia, it's typically negated, but other times I've seen cultists be killed by them in trying to do this.

So yeah, gameplan was to get them to try recruiting me. So what did I do?

"DEAR GOD, WE HAVE A CULT, THIS IS BAD, THIS IS VERY BAD, WE NEED TO KILL THEM NOW, THEY'RE LIKE *bleep*ING WEEDS, YOU LYNCH ONE AND ANOTHER JUST GETS ADDED, THEY KEEP COMING BACK, THEY JUST DON'T DIE, KILL THEM, KILL THEM, KILL THEM!!!"

Not only did I legitimately want people to focus on the Cult because I do believe them to generally be more potentially dangerous than a Mafia, but I felt that by doing this, I was making myself look distinctly un-Cult.

Which, as I've said, would make someone look like an ideal recruit~

Okay, so skip to this game now.

Come D3, we see the Autotune Alignment spring up, and everyone figures them to be a Cult. Try and look at this from my perspective, now - it's a Cult of Autotuners. I'm 'Lil Wayne, one of the biggest abusers of Autotune around. I'm not Cult, but I was damned certain that I could be recruited.

I really didn't want to be recruited. So what did I do?


"EVERYONE LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME, I'M SCUM, I'M SCUM, I'M SO OBVIOUSLY SCUM!!! IF YOU'RE TOWN, YOU'LL VOTE ON ME, LOOK AT ALL OF THE SUSPICIOUS THINGS I'VE BEEN DOING, ONLY SCUM DO THIS, THAT MAKES ME SCUM, LYNCH ME~!!!"

Indeed, I did pretty much the exact opposite. Make myself into the most suspicious person in the game, therefore making the Cult back way the Hell away from me.

I'm sorry Oli, but when you started questioning me, that just seemed like the perfect time to start. After all, that's when eyes would be on me the most.

It was never my intention to be a distraction or to make people look at me instead of anyone else. That's why I held back on pointing out that suspect of mine - right around the time I first mentioned it, Sleeping came out with the list of potential SK's. That was more solid than what I had, so I didn't want to detract from it - so I held back on mine and let people focus on Iconic. (Similarly, the next phase we had what appears to be the REAL SK to focus on, didn't want to distract from that either.)

Incidentally, that other person was skX. After the Autotune Alignment came up, I did a little search for the biggest autotune abusers to try and figure out who may have started out in it. Now, keep in mind, I'm not really big into hip-hop or pop which I believe are where you'll find this the most regularly, so I really only have google to go off of with this. But one name that kept coming up was the Black Eyed Peas. skX claimed the Black Eyed Peas way back on D1.

As I said, might be a bit hypocritical of me to be accusing him based off of that, all things considered, but this combined with his silence throughout the game and being on the list of six that Ollie posted also make him look rather bad. And I must say, it seemed interesting to me that people questioned me claiming an autotune abuser, yet no one said anything about skX's claim. Dunno if there's anything behind that, but there it is...

So yeah. Probably my last phase, so I figured I'd get all of that out now. Can't exactly do it after being lynched...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The game seemed to just... stop all of a sudden.

I think I would have preferred "Barring Night Three for obvious reasons...etc."

Now it just looks silly.
