The now-reduced company presses onwards, one small figure taking slower steps than the others, being pulled down by the weight of an unknown foe. Though anything tangible of its symbol has been vanquished, something lingers while the trinket thrives. However, things were looking up, as they were about to arrive to a major milestone in their journey; the borders of the dark lands. They were soon disappointed though as they realized the impossibility of the passage. A massive black gate lay before them, with thousands of orcs and vile things standing guard. It was soon realized that this was not a possibility for passage. Frustrated, they turned westward, trying a different route.

One small individual threw his cloak over him for the night, another huddled close to a lit object, feeling warm and guarded.

A cloaked figure, dormant for the night, resided peacefully in his realm. He was approached by a familiar figure. The cloaked figure wondered why he couldn’t just be left alone by this ridiculous entity, but his thoughts were soon interrupted.

“OLD FOREST GANG SUNSHINE OR SNOW”

The cloaked figure stood there, contemplating if he his bitch had been *bleep*ed. Once again, his thoughts were irrelevant as he stood there, perplexed, watching this dance unfurl before him. Mimicking a cutting motion while pretending to prepare some of the South Farthing’s Best for usage, the cool beats of Wiz drifted over the mountains to all of Middle Earth, and all night cloak figure watched the purple on dance as if he always had one rolled.

A Lady far away watched this transpire.

Deep in the forest, the monstrosity prepares for her meal. The now motionless prey lay covered in web. The beast was about to open a bottle of ranch when a familiar foe sprang upon her. This man, who had stopped a meal previous, was determined to save another. He charged at her, blowing his horn, as he slashed at her underside. She tried to battle back but the fearsome sound of the horn of men resounded through the forest and she was forced to scurry away. The loyal soldier cut the webs off of the grateful figure, and tonight, a life was saved.

A ranger races through the lands searching for his target. With such unbelievable luck on previous nights, he was certain was about to kill a high priority target. As soon as he was about to be within bowshot, a giant string shot out of nowhere, tying up his ankles. As he fell, he reached for his bow and an arrow to fire at his many-eyed attacker. He had no chance, as one of many legs knocked his weapons across the forest floor and out of sight. She quickly ensnared the rest of his body and dragged him off into the night.

A king on the plains mounted his horse. He and a small collection of men were doing patrol across the plains. As they got out of reach of Edoras and its defenseless, a large shadow loomed over the men. One by one, the rohirrim were picked off by a large winged beast uttering a terrible cry. The archers were destroyed first, leaving the men without defenses making towards safety as fast as they could. Once they were all murdered, the King was approached, Large talons gripped Snowmane and threw the two to the ground. Being crushed by the weight of his horse, the King could barely move. He did, however, have his arms free. He reached for his spear and his aim was true, and the fel beast was no more. It’s rider was not amused. He dismounted and approached the king.

“Now King. It is time to die.

“NOOO!!!”

A streak of gold flashed and the wraith’s sword swing was blocked by a shield of Rohan. Apparently, one of the riders had escaped the fel beast’s fury and stood now defiant against the face of death. The attacker merely laughed and taunted this poor soldier. He swung his mace and it shattered the soldier’s shield, laying it in pieces. The soldier clutched their hand; it was completely shattered. However, the soldier remained defiant and swung their sword valiantly against their foe. Side stepping all of his blows, quite a fight was being put up. Eventually, the soldier got a good cut in and sliced off the hand holding the flail.

“You fool! You have angered me!!!! Don’t you know that no man can kill me!!!!

The soldier took advantage of this hesitancy and plunged their sword deep into the blackness behind the helmet. Then, she removed her helmet and there stood Eowyn, shield maiden of Rohan.

“I am no man.”

Then, a scream so terrible emerged from deep within the wraith as it imploded into nothingness. Eowyn quickly ran to her King. She arrived just in time to see his eyes close, and she wept.
