Jesus *bleep*ing Christ it's great to be able to post, again. Glad to see you all missed me.
*fingers to earpeice*
What?
They all tried to lynch me?
*fingers back to earpiece*
What!? They Lynch Achieved on me!? While I was jailed and unable to defend myself!?!? ON A HUNCH LATER PROVED INCORRECT!?!?!?!?
Serves you all right for wasting a day phase on me, assholes. You probably had the cult rolling in delight. Luckily, you've been given a second chance, as the jailer has saved my life. Twice now, actually. So this is like, a third chance. Well, hell, even more than that, given that both Homicide and Fusion tried to kill me earlier on in the game, too. Damn. Why am I even bothering to participate in this game, again?
And even better for you chaps, I've got so much that I want to cover, that I'm moving on from the fact that there have been at least four attempts on my life, so far this game. All because I was 'likely' the Cult Recruiter. I had no idea we were lynching silenced people based off of hunches.
(I typed this portion up before he just got modkilled, buy hey, it's still relevant to the Glot/Fusion Debacle) I could buy that Jaffers V.2 is The Blode. But here's something I figured I'd mention... ZTR and Blode have this huge inside joke with "Braden Walker". The "Braden Walker" killer is trying to help people, but in turn, kills them. The "Braden Walker" killer was active on night one, and then inactive for a number of phases. Until Oogity_Boogity_Boo was replaced by Jaffers. Who is now claiming as The Blode. With a 'Protect' Ability. Which is obviously faulty. The Blode is a CPR Doctor-esque role. Jaffers is The Blode. Jaffers is therefore a Killer. Even look at Night Phase Two, when Oogs was jailed. The write-up states that he has an active ability, pretty much. And the "Braden Walker" Killer was nowhere to be seen. I wouldn't say cult. But I will say Scum Indy of sorts. He's "Showing us what he's made of", right? He killed someone on Night One (Under the impression that it was Hazzy as GabboUK), was Role-Blocked Night Two by our Jailer, was then inactive until Night Five, where by then, he was replaced by Jaffers V.2, and killed Dis as The Shape, and somehow targetted himself on Night Six. (Where joke or not, Jaffers appeared incapacitated for 11 minutes after the Day Phase started.) It all makes sense. The two killers that appear to be left are right in front of us. Jaffers V.2 and Fusion. (Though now just Fusion, has Jaffers just got modkilled.)
We need to take a closer look at Dash the Stampede. On Day Phase Two, Dash came forward and said that there was an attempt taken on his life. If I remember correctly, someone went to kill Dash, but ended up killing Aido as SuperPeanut, who jumped in front of the bullet. Apparently, that's happened two more times, as Dash has said three attempts on his life have been taken. Each time, someone diving in front of someone, to take a bullet, and Dash coming forward saying someone tried to kill him. So why is it that Dash's Character has, at least three body guards protecting him? I mean, that's the only way that Dash would know if an attempt was taken on his life, is if he was informed of having a number of protectors, or being informed that a mastermind minion would take a bullet for him for every night kill attempt on his life. What role could be so important that he's got people diving in front of shots for him? It just strikes me as ASC Mk II material. He's got mind control. Might as well make some of the minions protect him. I'll share some of the hints he's given us, so no one has to look back... He wasn't a role in Neoseeker Mafia II, and his character was on Neoseeker Pre-2004. In all honesty, it doesn't look like we have much. Just two hints, and his word that he can't be killed at night. Because of all these minions taking bullets for him. Raise your hand if you'd like to know more about Dash the Stampede...
Which is why I believe Kratos's Claim. We've obviously seen a few people jumping in front of bullets for someone. It just sounds like the people that ZTR couldn't come up with an ability for, are just bodyguards to more prominent people. Redemption though? He had a cameo in Neo II. Don't know much about him. Would he be a Minion?
Dancing_Queen? Claiming as PinkyPink. No one countered claimed, that's fine. But then she stepped forward with her role-title... PinkyPinky: The Mastermind's Minions Aligned Pink Panther? Now, don't get me wrong, PinkyPink is a surefire bet on a player in the game, but with ZTR and her relationship, don't you think he'd have gone a little deeper than "Pink Panther"? It's not even some sort of inside joke. Pinky's come forward and shared her concern for that role-title. She doesn't believe it fits, as she has no idea why a reference to the Pink Panther would be made. The argument could be made that she'd be aligned in the same alignment as Dash the Stampede. It's plausible, I guess. They're besties. I'd find it hard to believe storywise that Dash would put mindcontrol on her. And given that he was ASC Mk II, I'm pretty sure that no matter which way you look at this, she's likely scum. Which is way too ironic. Desmond as Dash. Dancing as Pinky. Heh. *snicker snicker*
SuperPeanut... You know I totally love you, and we're "An Item" and whatnot, but I have some concerns about you. Not so much about how you've been playing, but with circumstances surrounding you. Either on Day Phase One or Two, you gave us some hints about your character. You made it pretty evident who you were, and you were accpeted as town. Later on, Desmond_13, who took it upon himself to attempt to settle a score with you, comes forward with a role-cop investigation on you, and outs you as a bomb variation, of which you pretty much confirmed. The person you were hinting at could definitely fit as a bomb, no problems. So you're probably wondering why I'm concerned... Think about this, for a second. If the cult recruiter were smart, he'd have recruited you. Why? Because someone else outted you as a bomb, and you confirmed it. No one's going to target you for kills at night, if they think you're a bomb. If a cult recruiter recruited you, even if you did happen to lose your ability, no one would know it, and would be too afraid to kill you, even to test it out. And what about investigations? You hinted at your character, fairly thoroughly, and very early on. That's more than A LOT of people. Investigations would be best placed elsewhere, away from you. So in hindsight, the cult recruiter would have struck gold with you, merely because of the way the cards have fallen. Your quickness to point the finger at other people as cult has me a little worried, though. I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from. On paper, you're like, the perfect recruit.
Just kill Fusion, soon. Sure, he's super active, he's playing logically, and he's trying to be as helpful as he can, but come on, Disenchanted. A Mastermind Minion. It just doesn't make sense. Dis' character was an Indy in the last game. And granted, I can't go around pointing at the last game as evidence, (because look where that got us with Homicide as The Hazard), but we had a town vigilante. It was Homi/Hazzy. Fusion/Dis' Write-Up Appearances make him out to be this cold and calculating individual who stakes out his prey, and kills them with no remorse. Oh. And did I mention IT'S *bleep*ING DISENCHANTED? We're all fairly sure he's scum. But a few of you are arguing that as scum, he HAS to work with the Town, and kill Cult. But I see it a bit different. What if Disenchanted is an Indy in this game, too? Slowly picking off anyone of any alignment, trying to appear pro-town, as fingers are wildly pointed as the cult paranoia sets in. All he'd have to do is wait everything out, and pick off anyone else remaining. We can't just write him off as "He's Scum, He NEEDS to work with us." It's never just that easy.
So yeah, here's a nice "Olivier's Back" Post. And I didn't even need to use quotes. It should be pretty evident that we've got a number of avenues to pursue. Take what you want from this post, I've made it fairly clear who I'm most wary of... Though given that the game started with about 34 people, I'm willing to believe that either the Blode or Dis characters started out with lists. I mean, Atma could have, he wasn't around long enough to make enemies. He just hated everyone. Blode and Dis? I could really see one of them having a list. With emphasis on Dis. Say that's the case, all Fusion needs to do is sit back, kill whoever the town wants him to kill, while his list slowly dwindles itself down. It'd be smart play. No matter how I look at this, Fusion is just bad news bears. Whoever claimed Homicide (heh, we know who you are), should probably watch their back. If Dis has a list, you're on it. Fusion's word, as likeable a guy as he is, just isn't enough for me, here.
There are so many other avenues I'd like to bring up, but for now, this should be fine. This should be enough, for now. So yeah, of the several people I could throw my first vote in how ever many phases on... I choose...
Vote: Dash the Stampede
We've got plenty of fallback lynch options. This is a pressure vote, because I'm sure we'd all like more information on the guy who can't be nightkilled because he's got limitless minions diving in front of bullets for him... You Redemption, Dash?
And that's how you do an 'Olivier le Fou' Post.
