... But maybe Squeenix has seen a few of the sites that talk about her "ghost" and decide to add it into the remake? I thought it was a pretty cute idea seeing her ghost.
And heck, Cloud saw her "ghost" in AC too, so maybe it's not so hard to believe that Squeenix will add it to the remake.


I'm not convinced that the ghost (If it was a ghost. i personally interpreted it as a figment of clouds memory or imagination,) was a total mistake, a transparent model that blinkers out when you go near sounds to me like it would have to programed in, especially when theres animation involved, moveover, i reckon the only glitch is that the ghost apears too early in the game, maybe overlooked because there is no reason to go back after the kidnapping.

    Making Sephiroth harder to that extent is a no-no. The final boss should be beatable without too much of a hassle. If he presents a challenge even at level 99 with the best equipment and materia, wouldn't that just frustrate the casual gamer who just wants to beat the game and get it over with? If you want a challenge, that's what the WEAPONs and other side bosses are for.

    Anyway I liked Ray's other suggestion awhile back. Which was make him hard depending what level your on. But i don't think he's referring to make him very hard that most can't beat him, like me he felt he was far too easy in battle, i want some challenge when fighting him, but not enough to frustrate normal gamers. I think thats what he meant by that.

    You know i wish they could make it easier to obtain Aeris Final limit and Ultimate weapon before

    Hum... I disagree.

    I think that is why it is hard to get her final Limit Break; IT is meant to be unique and hard to get so that players will feel rewarded for exploring this secret.

    I like Aerith's final weapon and limit being as hard to get as everyone elses. It certainly doesn't give player's the impression that something bad will happen to her early on in the game. It throws people off. I like that ^^

    The very least they could do is increase his HP, because those who get KOR/Final Limit Breaks, can take Sephiroth out in two turns.

    Another thing is when he heals himself, it should be higher than the damage he takes, otherwise it would just be a waste of his turn. So it should be 9999 if not higher imo.

    Um i disagree. Aeris only stays in the party group for a certain amount of time. Making it hard is pointless when people don't use her anyway. I remember someone here said im glad she was gone she was useless anyway. Im mean, there is a reason why the rest was hard, cause they lasted the whole game, why make her just as hard if people choose not to use her and she is limited. Thats why i didn't like it. It made no sense to even give her a final limit if she wasn't used to her fullest. Not to mention her final weapons. I was practically the one who got everyone of her limits when in beginning of Midgar. Same as everyone else, but not their final limit.

    It was a pain to get the same numbers and such from the sleeping man to get the mythril and go to that house. I mean to get there you need a ship or something and by the time you get something like that she's gone. So to me it made it pointless.

    As for Sephy i don't think it was based when cloud reach that level. I mean i fought him several times on different levels and he was just the same as always. I didn't notice much. And half the time i didn't even use KOTR. So i think he should be harder or have alot more HP like Ray stated.

    You never needed a ship or anything to get Aeris' Great Gospel.

    Also, Sephiroth's difficulty does increase based on Cloud's level, but I'm pretty sure it's only for levels 95 and above.

    Having him be able to heal himself for more than the damage done is absurd, to be honest. Doing so would make the game too easy to glitch and essentially make him impossible to beat.

    He has to run out of MP sometime...

    I don't mean above all damage, but just 9999 or more.

    You have three characters, all of which can dish out 100,000+ damage.

    Having him heal himself for 9999 doesn't seem too outrageous. It'd certainly give people a bigger challenge so that they at least couldn't defeat Sephiroth at really low levels. (I was around level 45 when I first beat him and I only had some pretty average materia. It was a nice level of difficulty for me. I'd like Sephiroth to be that hard to beat when I'm around level 99 too. He's a pushover once you're at the level 80-90 region).

    She's the primary healer of the party. Of course people use her. Heck, I use her. Her limit breaks alone can lead the party through some pretty tough boss battles early in the game.

    Just because one person says she's useless, doesn't mean she is. That person probably just preffered a fully offensive team.

    Actually, if she would still be alive, she would be in my team forever.
    Great Gospel = win. An there's also Fury Brand, which fills up the other two guys Limit's gauge.

    I'm going through my Aeris-only challenge, too. With a little help with gameshark.
    Her stats in high levels are .

    And about the Sephy fight...I get really pissed when I "fight" him, tbh.
    It's just 4x Cut + Mime and he's done for. WTF?

    Whenever she used her limit breaks in my game, they killed my party instead of healing them

    Must have been some whacked out bug..

      I wont bother reading through all this stuff. But Il say what I think.

      Final Fantasy VII is the most popular Final Fantasy game. There's no Fnal Fantasy game that they have made a movie about...

      If they release a remake they have to change a lot of things. First...
      *Add voices to the characters.
      *Update the sound effects and music.
      *Update the graphics (Same quality as the movie).
      *Keep the original battle system but make it more flashy if you get what I mean. More like in the movie.
      *Away with the chi bi stuff. (Childish look).
      *Make everything more realistic. Like when you fly the ship there's clouds and birds and stuff. It can start to rain...
      *The world map has to be huge, everything has to match. Characters proper size. So like Midgar would be as big as 1/4 of the old world map. Huge World, add more places...I don't really now. Caves and stuff that isn't so important like the ice cave when you are heading for the crater could be a lot bigger I think. Just make everything bigger. Midgar must be like a big place with 50-60 areas to explore. Gold Saucer must have a lot of more mini games and maybe a updated look.
      *The story cant be changed at all. But the dialogue can...

      Sum up: The graphics like Advent children, and everything bigger, away with the chi bi and make it realistic.
      Then Im definitely gonna buy this game, but maybe they could add some small stuff that wouldn't affect the story. Like multi player in gold saucer....
