First, I will not "shut the hell up", if you have a different opinion that's fine but that in NO WAY gives you the right to be a rude little ignoramus simply because you disagree.

Second, to answer your question as to why they would remake a game that came out not too long ago, easy; 1) FFXI is only playable on the pc, if they remade it to be playable on the console it would sell a lot more copies (like games that are multi-platform often do) and it would be easier for people who can't pay the monthly fee to play online (or are too busy to play online every month...) to be able to play it, thus making that more practical in the long run. Remaking FFVII to me is just senseless. It seems, at least so far, that the only thing that's different is the graphics. IN MY OPINION that's hardly a reason to rebuy a game one already owns.

Of course, the improved graphics aren't going to matter much to the likes of me who still connect composite connectors to the front of their VCRs and run that into their TVs via coax. I need an LCD or plasma TV(it depends on the size of the TV), and a sound system that supports digital audio.

I would love to see a remake in all of it's graphical glory, I just need the hardware for it.

If they make a PC version my computer can kick the system requirement's ass, and DX 10 FTW.


They should make a PC version, they made a PC version of the original game.

Yeah,but personally I do think that they should remake it man,because just think;the great game for the psone,all digitally remastered on what console it might come out on(The PS3).But I have been a Final Fantasy fan for many years,so therefore,my opinions are 'much' different than you guy,unless you have played it,or on the forum to bitch about it(Not pointing anyone out,or saying that someone has)But yes,I personally think they should.

I would love a PS3 remake! I think they could change some stuff with the game but to make it work...the story was fantastic, nothing should be taken away, while very little needs adding.

Some characters should get more of a story to look into. Vincent just got a waterfall scene, him being my favourite character, i'd really like more.


And one more added side quest with Aeris just before she..you know, wouldent be so bad. I just get her ultimate weapon and she runs away like that!? that is not on!



They could also add alot more different enemies into the game, also more summons and materia.
No new characters, just improved.


Maybe they could make the buster sword abit more powerful! it's so under-rated in the game.

do you guys think that they will remake it exactly as i was (apart from graphics etc)
or will they make the possibility of resurrecting aeris become a reality? It is true that square did not finish the game as they had hoped, which led to many glitches (aeris' ghost in the midgar church, caves which are seemingly unenterable, the 1:35 soldiers and their function)

i think that one of the main changes should be that you can choose which of your characters you see running around the world map. in the original it's always cloud, but vincent (or red XIII!)would be cool.

either way, i am really looking forward to a new ff7.

I always hoped the Aerith ghost wasn't just a glitch. Unfortunately FFVII Citadel confirmed that it was a glitch, since you can see her "ghost" before Aerith dies too.
... But maybe Squeenix has seen a few of the sites that talk about her "ghost" and decide to add it into the remake? I thought it was a pretty cute idea seeing her ghost.
And heck, Cloud saw her "ghost" in AC too, so maybe it's not so hard to believe that Squeenix will add it to the remake.

I wouldn't mind a few improvements on the game (e.g. more side-quest and caverns, a use for the 1/35 soldiers, clarification on some points in the story, etc.). But as long as most of it is kept relatively the same, I'll be happy.

But then again, if Squeenix decide to go all-out and completely change everything, I'll still buy it just to see everything in spiffy graphics. lol

I'd love to make use of that Masamune replica...

Should have a sidequest to turn it into the real one!

One thing I really want is to make Sephy way harder.

So that he can still be a challenge when you are at lv.99 with Mime, KOR...ect...
