	Final Fantasy VII:remake I don´t know if this looks interesting, or if this is "recent" news. But it seems they have confirmed that there are gonna be more Final Fantasy VII titles in the future and that a remake of the original. Is gonna be one of them. Yoshinori Kitase: Director of Final Fantasy VII "My feelings are that if a remake were to work well then all the core members of the original team must be reassembled, all the artists and designers. The problem is that, although all of us have an idea of what a remake should be and how to do it, organising such a thing right now is logistically very difficult. All the different members are now involved in very new, very large projects like Final Fantasy 13 and those projects are going to take a while. Maybe, when all those games are finished then we can look at doing something like that. Of course, that said we came up with the idea for Crisis Core in just two days. It was a case of 'this is what we want to do, so let's do it'. So, you can definitely expect the probability of something spontaneous happening at some point, but it's hard to predict." Nomura: Overseas they ask "Are you working on an FF7 Remake right now?" but that comes from nothing but rumors, I'm sorry to say it but we're not working on it. As long as there are people who say "I want to make it" or people who say "I will wait for it," we won't say that "It's over" Fans of Final Fantasy VII To relive the beauty of Final Fantasy VII on a newer engine like the Ps3 would be totally awesome. With updated graphics it would be easier to relate to the characters and understand the story. Of course it would be cool to see the classic scenes from the original game with the same graphical quality as Advent Children. Of course it´s square enix that makes the game, and a lot of us would not mind if you could tie the prequels and the sequels together. For example you could at least mention Angeal or Genesis. Zarnik: It seems like when everything else is finished (XIII) They will gather a team and remake it. What do you think? 	Aerith didn't make it on the box art there. But the picture and all those comments have got me very excited...again!! I think it will be made, going from their comments though...it could take awhile...or they are already on planning stage for it. It's just getting the old team back together that will take a little wait... 2012 release...if things go smoothly. -------------------

	All of those quotes just say that they would like to do it but don't have the time right now. They have been barking up that tree for quite some time now. And that picture is obviously fan made. I would think that official box art would be more than just AC pictures. PUH-LEASE... Triumphant return dance

	Yea or if someone decided to put aerith's face on it would also greatly enhance its believeability. She was one of the biggest characters in ff7. Probably the most important. Even the picture of her from the demo ff7 on ps3 would work.

	I've enjoyed them all also. I hated the gameplay in DoC, but with Vincent being my favourite character...i loved playing through, finding out more about him. -------------------

	Good information, I like the box art, but they do need to Aerith in there. I must agree as well. I am very happy with the compilation, and I still want more. DoC the gameplay was average (but shooters are not SE's strong point). Crisis Core's battle system was good, but it was definitely the weak point of the game. Crisis Core - 8.5/10 FFVII - 10/10 FF:AC - 9/10 DoC - 7/10 BC - I read the story, did not play the game (7.5/10) I know a couple 360 fanboys who played the original FFVII and stated they would get a PS3 just for this game. I believe, if they remake, ALL the old customers (even the ones you see complaining on online forums) will buy it. A successful shooter-RPG-horror that had fantastic gameplay similar to the original Resident Evil games. Knowing that Square could have made better gameplay for DoC, but didn't, is a big hit to DoC. Fair enough if it was Squeenix's first shooter ever, but it wasn't. They made a crappy game with crappy gameplay. And we all know they can do better than that because they've done it before In my opinion the Compilation hasn't been mediocre at best and I really wish it had never existed. It's contradicted the original FFVII, made a bunch of new characters more important than the originals, and in essence has forgotten what the original FFVII is all about. I didn't want any of this crap to be added to FFVII. A good-quality RPG sequel would have been nice, but that seems to be asking too much of Squeenix lately. If the Compilation games didn't have "Final Fantasy" written on the box then nobody would give them a second thought. AC would just be a pretty movie with a nonsensical story, DoC would be a boring shooter that no shooter fan play, CC would be a decent action-RPG that could have been better, and BC would have been an above-average mobile game. 	I think they should have made Final Fantasy and all it's prequels/sequels a different FF series, and then made a different VII. That would leave more room for more games, since making VII into a whole big thing makes people look at it as milking it compared to other Roman numeral games. Which I agree, it is getting a tad out of hand. A remake and Before Crisis would be nice, though. Those Turks look bad ass. ------------------- - Dead Island - Darksydephil

	POSSIBLE SPOILERS It'd be cool if they put a Matrix Reloaded spin on it. For example, after just meeting Aeris, Cloud (who's wearing his black cloak and shades from AC) seems distracted by the door and is like, "This conversation is over. Retreat to the roof. Agents are coming." AERIS: Agents? The Turks begin to break in. CLOUD: Go. She flees. Reno, Tseng, and Rude enter in slow motion. CLOUD: Howdy, fellahs. TSENG: It's him. RUDE: The escapee, do we proceed? TSENG: Yes. He is still... RENO: Only human. Cloud kicks all of their asses and then flies away through the hole in the roof of the church. Later on in the game, Cloud would be in an open area and then Sephiroth would show up and tell Cloud how he thought he watched Cloud die (with a certain satisfaction) and then couldn't believe that Cloud turned the tables and killed him. A lot of other Jenova clones of him show up. Halfway through the fight, one of Aeris' weapons is knocked out of his inventory and he pwns the clones with it.

Parasite Eve is not a very well known game. I stand by my logical argument in that shooter are not SE's strong point.
