This thread will be used for in-depth discussions about Tifa, her personality, her character, her role in the game, her use in battle, etc.

I certainly don't agree with a_k that Tifa complained too much in AC. How can she complain too much about Cloud, her close friend and secret-crush, dying? That's caring for a friend.
If I knew a close friend was dying of a disease, and running away from it, I'd be 'complaining' for them to fight it as well! I wouldn't just let them keel over and die all alone.

That was one of the main things I admired about Tifa in Advent Children. Squeenix managed to keep her personality from the game spot-on, and she was true to her character in trying to help Cloud overcome his depression and Geostigma. Provided she didn't actualy solve the problem, but kudos to her for trying!

Hahaha. So will the Hottest / Cutest FF Chick thread still be as popular? Does anyone else really hate Tifa's AC out fit? I think she lost some of her spunkiness in the movie.

I didn't like any of AC Tifa's appearance.

*Ehh* I still don't like the change in Tifa's appearance. No doubt Rinoa is one of the prettier FF girls (and Nomura's idea woman, apparently) - she definitely has an "alluring" look - but that's just not the type of girl Tifa is, or should be based off. (though guys tend to disagree there).

Sure, the "country bar girl" image might not be the prettiest image that a person gets into their head, but it's still Tifa: those original looks represent the person she is - those original looks are what made her famous in the first place. The "hot Asian" look doesn't really suit her personality, imo.

And that model was based off the original Tifa design. If only she looked more like that in the actual games >_>

Tifa is one of my favorite characters. She is sweet, caring... and can kick your ass in a heartbeat What is not to love.... other than getting your ass kicked in a heartbeat?

Yep...Tifa...Man It's been awhile since I've seen anything regarding Tifa...or anyone for that matter. But I think Tifa Is only good If you have her L4 break and you get the slots part right...You do have to get the slot symbols in order for the L4 break, right?

What is with the dilly dally business? Really there are part of the american dub that make me cringe.

All that aside, I don't think too much of Tifa. She was easily my least favorite girl out of the three, but she has her good points as well.

Yeah Reno is pretty cool, why isn't there a Reno thread?
