The reason why Aeris may have been able to embody herself in a physical presence in AC is probably because she is a Cetra. -------------------

Hmm possible Ray, Well in essence FFX and FF7 are connected in the fact that the people don't die in a sense and become spiritual and be able to talk to people. But i get what you mean torebaa its very similar. Well let me ask this what other powers does the cetra have anyway, I mean we still haven't seen there potential or Sephys for that matter.

quote Fire_FoxOnly this. quote Ray_MasamuneWhat about Zack though? He also appeared at the end of AC, and I assume it would be through the same means that Aerith did. (unless that was Aerith's doing, also) - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - I doubt Aeith will be making any more major appearances in the Compilation. At least, I hope she doesn't. Her "goodbye" scene in AC was pretty finalizing imo (she had helped Cloud, therefore her work was done). Though I like the idea of minor appearances like, as Torebaa mentioned... quote torebaaAs Fire_Fox said, she appeared as a "spirit" for a split second in the chirch, so it'd be a nice little reference to that moment for her to make a similar appearance again. - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - Edit: A random question .. has anyone else thought it was weird that Aerith still had her hair tied up in AC? Her hair ribbon fell out as she died, so shouldn't her "spirit" have it's hair out? -------------------

By that logic, shouldn't she still have a gaping chest wound? quote Ray_MasamuneGG brought up the logical falacy created by the Cetra argument. Zack's appearence, even for a moment, created a pretty confusing precedent. Would it really matter who the kids were? I can't personally remember who they were, but the fact they also notice her means that the whole situation is more confusing than ever. That FFX/ FFVII connection is pretty lame. I mean, if you didn't roll your eyes enough at FFX2 as a game, then the fact they attempted to tongue and cheek retcon a connection to FFVII should have made your eyes roll out of your head. ------------------- Mr Art thread Excitement!

But the fact that no one else noticed her, and the fact that she seems to appear and dissapear means that she wasn't exactly physical. -------------------

Xtrordinary you would be surprised, I bet Nomura did put that into thinking. But tell me since Sephy isn't dead wouldn't that mean They will still need Aeris help again one day. If he tries a similar move in AC.

*Ehh* I don't think Aerith will be playing Cloud's "guardian angel" anymore. In AC, she was really only there to give him moral support, as well as make sure he forgives himself and gets over his grief. Since, at end of AC, Cloud had realized he asn't alone and had gotten over that grief, Aerith could say her "final goodbye". Her work was done. She can return to the Lifestream, where she belongs. And Cloud can stay with his friends, where he belongs. -------------------

Well why not, i like the idea of her being a guardian angel for him. I mean its like repaying him back from him being her bodyguard IMO. I just don't like the idea of her not being involved in a FF7 game.

He doesn't need a guardian angel anymore though. He has his living friends to look out for him now. That was what Aerith wanted. She didn't want him dwelling on the dead. He still had a life to live - with other living people. quote finalblade98Well it's already happened once, so I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't make any more appearances at all. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Aerith is one of my favorite FF characters, but I don't want Squeenix to keep on adding he rto future FFVII games just to please the fans. I've accepted that she is gone, and although it's sad that she most likely won't be appearing in anymore sequel FFVII games, I'd prefer it that way. She died, and it's time for her to leave the world. She doesn't need to look out for Cloud anymore. She has accepted that he must remain with the living, and she must remain with the dead. That's just how things go. -------------------
