He's more of the messed up guy. Doesnt know who he is, cant figure it out, cant see when a girl is tryin 2 get his attention...that kind of thing.

Cloud has a reputation of being strong because he was exposed to a lot of Mako. In that sense he lives up to his reputation.

Cloud is, to use an expression which I haven't for some time, a goon.
He has practically no personality, even after he is untangled in the lifestream, and his Zack persona was no better.
I say again, goon.

Goon or not, I like a flawed hero in an RPG. In battle, he's a powerful asset, however messed up in the head he may be.

Cloud has a lot of baggage, and don't we all? If they made an FF7 character based on me, it would be this:

Madison Gale (not my real name), 16, born in Kalm Town, weapon: lance.
Madison at first seems like just a happy-go-lucky kid, but in reality she has a much darker side. While she gets along quite well with the other heroes most of the time, often they find themselves wondering if they can count on her when it comes down to the crunch. A good character for battles, but definitely emotionally unstable and a little immature.
