Well, tis an intresting tale, and I shall begin thusly.

When I first played the game I was about 7 or 8 years old, and to merit a place in my trio you had to have the best HP, doesn't matter what else, just HP. As Yuffie hasn't normally got the best HP when she joins you, I stuck with Barret and Red XIII.

I then became stuck in my ways and always thought Yuffie was a bit poor. When I replayed the game, Yuffie had a better HP than Barret, so I had a look at their stats and decided Yuffie was indeed worthy of a place in my party.

And, this is how I saved Christmas between 1995 and 1995.

I found Yuffie useful the first time I played it through although at first I thought you got her as the story progressed. True she wasn't a power house like I expected, but I beefed her up before I went to Juno and she proved more then useful.

Which brings up a question that only a few people answered, what was it about Yuffie that we all started liking her?

I liked Yuffie's attitude and personality. She has an up-beat sttitude and she is funny at times. She is also the annoying sister that you can't stand, but you still love..

Regarding what Neto 360 Is saying, Yuffie Is what I like to call "Spicy." Razor-tongued answers for everything. As for HP, I think It varies everytime you play the game. Right now She's got about 8600 on L99 without any Green, Red or HP Plus Materia equipped in the current save I'm playing; Your Yuffie may have 8900 or something like that. I suppose It's the fact that you have to put an effort to catch her for her to join your party could be one reason everyone likes her; she certainly just doesn't walk up to you and join like everyone else, except Vincent, does.

Yes. There can be a million people who like Yuffie, each person having a million reasons. She can be the attractive girl the guys like or the strong woman the girls respect.

I don't see the Vincent x Yuffie pairing working out after playing DoC. I was hoping we might see some sparks develop between the two, but my hopes was shot down.

Thats cause Vincent was all about the beatiful Lucretia and not the cute perky Yuffie.

Vincent was all about somebody at the end of DoC, but it wasn't Lucrecia or Yuffie.
