The thing you dont remember is that she said it herself that she WANTED to die, but she COULDNT, i dont think it was Sephiroths memories holding her back but the Jenova Cells inside of her. I think she will be alive, she may even come back to Vincent. If Sephy's in FFVII: DoC he may cause complications for Vincent and Lucrecia though, as he did lie and tell her that he is dead.

Well, I suppose that would hinge on what happens in AC. Isn't that supposed to take place first, then DoC?

I do not think it will be a love story at all, it seems far from it, more like a bloody story of ones anger against the world for making him into a monster.

It may be that the DG soldiers were last seen in a place where Lucrecia was and she isnt there and so Vincent has set of in a 'noble' quest to find and free her.

Bah, nobility, n00bility. The more I think about it the more I hope she isn't there, making it all about him chasing her around trying to save her. That has puke factor five written all over it.

No, but really, it just seems like that's not his style. All cold and stoic, not warm and fuzzy. Even if she was involved somehow it just seems to be a bit .... contrived? I know he cared for her and was basically crushed when she rebuffed him, but a whole game spent trying to save her...? It just seems so Legend of Zelda....

Ive heard that aswel, but its nothing more than theories for people as it hasnt been explained in enough detail in the game.
With what you said Daisy you are absolutely correct, and id rather it not happen, but i cant help but think that Lucrecia will play an important part in the game as she is an important person in his life. Maybe she will only appear in flashbacks of his past and i am certain that there will be some flashbacks, as it will explore his life before sephiroth and everything.

This would be somewhat complicated to those who don't understand the Sephiroth, Hojo, and Lucrecia theroy. Hopefully, Lucrecia will play a part in DoC.

She died...I'm sorry but take it or leave it, She told Vincent the only reason she is alive is because of Sephiroth basically, when she finds out he is dead, she vanishes, gone...dead, nothing more to it.

Maybe Lucrecia is just a baddy in disguise... psychologically trying to defeat Vinny... I hate Lucrecia...

I don't like her much either. There's not really a reason for my hating of her, she's just one of those characters that didn't appeal to me much.
We'll definately find out more about her in DoC, so maybe I'll change my mind about her after I play DoC.

But I absolutely hate her new look.
