Jenova at the north crater

In no way has it been confirmed that the Sephiroth that the party chase throughout Disc 1 is Jenova. I believe that it is Sephiroth's will, manipulating one of those "clones", and this theory is agreed with by Hojo, who claims that:

That sentence was said moments before the fight against Jenova DEATH in the Whirlwind Maze.
It's surely none of my beeswax, but you truly owe it to yourself to replay the game, Wraith. It doesn't feel dated at all. Re-immerse yourself in it, until you drown in it's splendour. Not a bad way to go by all means...

Ah, but you haven't explained why (In the crater) you must first kill Jenova to get to Sephiroth! This is probably the main reason why I think that Sephiroth wasn't being controlled by her, merely in cahoots* with her!
*(I've always wanted to use that phrase in a sentence...)

It's just before Cloud give the Black materia for good to Sephy at the end of the crater.

Frankly speaking, I think it was Jenova and the sentence means tat she have no more use for Sephy's body. Once the reunion is complete, she can discard the body.

I don't think there is a perfect self when comes to jenova.

With a small portion, it can grow an entire organism like wat ya face in the ship to Del Sol, after Aeris's demise and at the Northern Crater.

i think Jenova have ability to rereplicate lost tissues and cells the way a Salamander does.

i think the game designers take such concept from the movie The Thing (1978) because tat's the closes I could get to a Reunion.

There's an original point. Someone deattached some cells from this point and place it somewhere else or by accident (like wat happened to Sephy when he was a baby).

Deattached cells find host, controls the host for protection and food, brings it to the original point (from where the deattached cells came from) and reunite with the original point. The host is no longer needed and can be discarded away.

I think tat's wat the word "Ya just a puppet" means. It means tat Cloud (like other clones) are just hosts which supposed to carry their genetic load to the point where the unload it. Then, once the task is complete, Cloud and others could be discarded like puppets with no purpose.

It relate perfectly. Jenova's lost limps here and there so when it reach the reunion, not all "parts" made it. So, compile the parts which did made it, ya get the present "Jenova", only it is in form of Sephy (Safer) which had the most amount of jenova cells compare to everyone else who had them.

Coming together is the goal of the reunion - everyone who played the game will agree to tat. But where do they come together? As wat?

I believe it is trying to reunite with Sephy's remains where jenova cells are active and calling to others who have them as well. My theory.

Safer is not any god. It just a dead body which Jenova managed to revive.

Incident with Lucretia proves tat a J-carrier like Sephy couldn't just die. The Jenova he was carrying will continue to force him to live despite of his death.

Tat's why ya have the bare-chested Sephy in the darkness later in the end. Tat's the mind of the body which Cloud must kill off to complete destroy Sephy+Jenova.
