I got this game for $64.99 the day it came out

I beat the game over atleast 15 times.
I saved at the little town north of Midgar, it starts with a K lol, well anyways i beat everything there is to beat in the cave and i just went back to get some stuff, then i got in and beat seph. Then my game turned into space, and it was like i was flying through space, everytime i leave the game on for like 15 minutes to see what happens. Nothing ever happens! so insted of beating it, i just go around doing random stuff, like chocobos and the last 2 weapons

Ah I still remember that fateful day...9-7-97. 13 days before my birthday I got the best present ever. It was in fact the first time I played a game for more than 2 days straight till I beat. I think for the first 3 years I played and replayed it about 20 times. After that I would maybe play and beat it 2 times a year. You ever just sit there and then think of the game and all the memories and it makes you want to play it. That was sort of how it was for me. If not for all the good RPGs out now I would probably play it again lol.

I've beat FFVII about 3 times, back in the year '99 i had some good times on that game, i'd run home from school to play it until bed time, wake up in the morning and paly it for an hour then do the same thing day-in-day-out

Ha ha, that reminds me of something someones who's obsessed would do, When I bought this game when it first came out, I had 2 min on my bike to get home and return to school. And everyday there was 35 min lunch break, so I would even speed my way home and back must to play 30 min XD

It was so insane! XD
I'm so glad I managed to finish that game or it would have been a bit challenging until the snow came back

im a 6 year vet! i got this game for my birthday, and from there i just played and played, i even skipped three days of school so i could beat it under 12 hours! i still play it. but right now im playing final fantasy IX.

Hmm I was wondering Cammy who was it that first started playing FF7 you or Lill? And did one of you introduce it to the other? I always thought Lill introduced it to you but what do I know lol.

WEll FF7 was the thing that got lill and I talking really, our family never used to talk due to some things no one never wanted to talk about, so the family never really really fully together. But on a family event where everyone was invited, me and lill got to talking about games, and we both mentioned FF7 was the best game ever, and we both loved Sephiroth, so who got it first I have no idea XD

But how I got the game is kind of funny!
My brother kept on talking about a game that was coming, that it had great expectations and etc. Suddenly there was a commercial about it (first and only RPG commercial I've seen when I think about it), so it was coming out this game. I was really never into games, I liked car games and ace combat and such, but adventure and RPG never crossed my path. So I had plenty of money that time since I had a job, so I went out and bought the game to mock my bro for buying the game he wanted XD

But he wasn't interested at all.. I sat down and played dragon heart which was the other game I bought that day.. and it is the worse game ever... don't even touch this game!!!... So ironic enough I buy also my fav game ever, luckily I tried Dragon heart first, cause FF7 absolutely blew my mind away, I sat for 11 hours straight, not eating or drinking. couldn't let go of the controller... It was sick, I was so glad I didn't have a school day the next day, I think I would've skipped it ... who am I kidding, I skipped several days for that game!

Yeah I understand what you saying. My family is like that with my white side split in 2 (oh yeah it's white trash) and my Japanese side that is strict with so many rules its crazy (with rules comes altercations).

Anyway back on topic with all this talk of the past and FF7 it really makes me want to blow the dust off my case and pop that sucker in.

only game I've worn.. And it's impossible for me to get it here, but I think I know a way to get it in December, and that will be so fun to check out all my theories I had for least 4 years without checking without playing the game ^^P

I've found THE SADDEST thing anyone has ever done because of 7. A kid killed his little sister reinacting the death of Aeris. That's F**ked up if you ask me.
