any Tips on beating Ruby & Emerald WEAPON?..........i can't touch ruby (i could but hardly) and knights of the round does nothing and he takes me ppl out....emerald i did 6 knights of the round and he still kills me....Help pleaz...

For Ruby Weapon, make sure to bring only one character alive at the beggining of the battle. Immediatley after he puts his arms into the ground, cast Life2 or Pheonix on your party to revive them. Just in case, have Final Attack + Pheonix to revive yourself. If you use KOR ruby will counter with Ultima, so have W-Summon, and summon KOR & Hades so that Ruby will not counter. Also, try to destroy his tails/arms first I think. And be at lv.80+

Having Mime, Omnislash, Ultima, and a bunch of Megalixers help. You can get a bunch of that by using the W-Item trick.

Make one character keep using Megalixers, one character casting Ultima, and Cloud using Omnislash constantly. With each character doing his/her job you can't lose (just as long as everyone stays alive). Make sure you're at least level 70 to beat him.

Ha I saw that you posted I figured you would put out an in depth faq I am so smart was it you who defeated Ruby with cid alone no materia?

I guess I should get my post back by explainin' how to whup some acient ass. Trust me folks, I shall Whup away!

First off, avoid them like People avoidin' my golf club swings (until your level is atleast 75).

Now, get some good materia. Doesn't matter what it is, I've beaten Emerald with a simple morph before, so if I can do that, grab your favs,and head to North Crater.

Next, go to near end of the Crater, fight the magic pots, and moovers. Rinse,lather,repeat until the materia's mastered.

Now, head for either Weapon, just keep the following in mind: Emerald has the team, Ruby has the single battle. So, if your feeling brave, face Ruby first, if not, follow me to that sub...

Now, DO NOT EQUIP the underwater materia. Infact, forget anyone on this site MENTIONED IT. It makes Emerald 80% more likely to use Aire Tam Storm. You don't want that! Speaking of which, make sure one member has the majority of the materia, whilst the other 2 only have 1-5.

Head into the fight, start swinging. (read FAQ for Hp/Mp details and more)

If you walked out, continue to Ruby
If you got your ass handed to you, try again

Now, head to Ruby. Ruby's the big red thing, you can't miss it *for those who've never found it*. Now, before hitting him you must kill off 2 party members. Other wise, no damage is delt (Waboku, anyone? YGO inside joke).

He'll bury his claws into the sand, faster than I bury my sword into Sephiroth's back. Do NOT waste time using Dazers on his claws, as Ruby's the puppet master. Boost your speed, cast DARK, SLOW, and STOP/Paralyze on Ruby. With that, you have a slight advantage, SPEED. Now, common sense tells you "ultimate weapon+ mystile+ribbon" WRONG! The weapon and ribbon can stay, but use something better than Mystile! He rarely uses Ultima, and it rarely misses when he does.
Keep your Hp high, and then when you win, come online, and then say the following a post, 3 times, in bold letters "LRN, You Da Man!" Or something along those lines...

WHAT?! I thought it was impossible to get back out of the northern crater when you have gone in. How do you do it? Maybe I'm just lazy and haven't tried, but I dont want to ruin it by doing something stupid and screwing up my game .

You go through that hole that makes you come out where yuo can see the high wind then you just climb the side othe hole and you can leave.

That used to scare me to death when I first played it and didn't know.

I never had a problem getting out so I don't have that problem.

Well, I heard a cheat once that if you only have Cait Sith alive in your party with a certain limit ready, you can kill anything in one hit without missing. It was a level 2 limit, I think. Go to a cheat search and you may see it. All I did to beat the weapons was a really complicated combo of materia and strength. Good Luck, man.

yes, you can use Slots to kill them, but doing that is pointless
