well, why is everyone saying he was easy? yeah hes easy as all getout if youve got Final attack, mime, KOTR, and all that other stuff, but try it without that, using stuff only like the elements, and basic sumons, like all the way up to maybe neo bahamut, or alexander. no Baha-Zero and quadra summon, or KOTR, or no hades and paralyzing him for the entire battle, just the basic stuff. see how EASY he is then! hes not!

and safer sephiroth can be a pain when he uses super nova followed by one or two normal attacks, or pale horse.

beating him with no equipment or materia with crossslash equiped is not that hard if your character is good

what i have come to believe through the many sephiroth threads here is that that third battle is sephiroth trying to gain control of cloud so sephiroth can be at midgar when meteor hits. Its just plot purposes really.

i remember when i first got the sephy in clouds mind im like yay i beat the game then WTF i gotta fight sephy again and ALONE lol then i used omnislash and my eyes were glued to the tv, it was so kool, then i found out how to get it in the normal game, got it, ownt...

Yea, it was like a climax to the whole story, showing how Cloud finally over come his demons so to speak. It was a true showdown, a one-on-one and a battle that only the strongest could win.

If you had pitted Cloud against him in a one-on-one any earlier in the game and Cloud woulda been dead meat. And if he was weaker than normal, it would be because he just had the hell beaten outta him twice by Cloud and his friends.

Has anyone ever let the third Sephiroth beat them on purpose tho? If so, what happens?
