just got a new psp recently, im going to take it online and activate it so i can play my ff7 soon.

playin fftactics right now. balthier is totaly soloing midlight deep.

he is way overpowerd.

Well 8 is much easier, and has better graphics, but tactics is much more fun, in my opinion.

I don't like to compare FFT to standard FF games, its nothing like the others, and i thoroughly enjoy it, FFTWoTL (psp version) you can get Balthier (ff12) and cloud, and a few other hidden chars.

Balthier is awesome, over powered, but awesome.

Cloud is cloud, kinda girlish, and has a bunch of limit breaks, and a new one, maybe too, not sure i rarely use him.

If i were you I would buy both, but if your only getting one, and you've never played tactics, buy that one.

Just keep in mind, its not your standard FF title, its combat is much more complex, there are dozens of different job classes, you and multi class, there is thousands of different items. Any enemy you fight, you can convert, and make them part of your team. You can poach monsters for their skin to sell to get rare items.

There is just so much that FFT has to offer, that the other ff games cant, or don't.

I recommend FFT over FF8, personally.
