2. Can Double cut X4 be used with slash all.

1: Yes You can have as many master materia as you like
2: not sure i would think that would only lower your attack damage by dividing among the max number of enemies for slash all or flash and 4x cut is something like half of your attack strength into each attack

If you want to have a slash all and 4x cut effect try this materia setup

4x Cut + Master All
there should be a little red arrow next to the attack option when you try this next or just do Master command and all

Do you mean from the huge materia? If so I believe you can only get one of each then one for defeating the weapons right?

master materia yeah but huge materia theres one for summons one for magic one for command and the other gives you bauhamut zero providing you have the other 2 of course

Yes; when you get the new materia after mastering the old, you can master that. You can do this as many times as you like.

Unless you mean masteer materia as in "master magic/summon/command", in whicb case you can get two of each; one for taking the Earth Harp you get from beating Emerald Weapon to the Kalm traveller and one from mastering every magic/summon/command materia (enemy skill doesn't count AFAIK).

No. If you have either slash-all or mega-all, 4xcut will be replaced by the slash-all command. There's no way to use them on the same character at the same time and you'll be wasting the 4xcut materia.

there is no limit to the number of master materias you can own, you just need to master one of every kind of materia.

Srsly? I didn't know that; I'll give it a try. But I wonder who decided to find out by master everything twice

(although that wouldn't actually be necessary...)

me, i had dozens of master materias, i used cid, cloud, and who ever else gets a trip growth weapon and i also had double growth armers.

went to the norther crater, and fought movers and magic pots.

2 days of grinding later i had dozens of masterd materias that i condesnted into severl MASTER materias.

same here took me 2 and a half days to master everything in my inventory. Wouldn't 4x cut with all materia work instead or slash all? i remembered attaching All to my Master command once and it seemed to work then

All works with most command materia but seeings as 4x cut already slashes at all the monsters (albeit randomly) it doesn't work with that materia.

Just as if you equip mega all (I beleave its called) it automatically creates a slash all situation instead of 4X.

Not that I'm aware of,however the designers wrote so many variables in the game that its hard to tell. It might appear more often the more times you summon it but I'm in no way stating it would, just giving an example, it would require a lot of game time research to determine.

there is increased chance for fat chocobo based on luck for sure, luck effects EVERYTHING in that game.
