PC problems (freezing restarting etc.)

Maybe it's a problem with your Game Disk?---
Mine worked properly....there's no pc problems....

Or maybe your computer cant handle the game or the computer is too advanced but really it just might be your gamedisk, maybe a file is missing. Or maybe you night have to upgrade it online that is what I had to do, because it wouldn't start. Nothing ever happened to me when I was playing the game. So just look on the square soft file and check for something with a version I think it might be the config.

These are some of the reasons that it is not really a good idea to get FFVII for the PC just mainly because the game was meant for the PSX. It is still a good game on both systems.

the freezing at the chocobo race is a common problem...there's a patch, though...google for it

My version of the game stops after Bugenhagen explains about the study of life stuff. I can move cloud around, I can run through the other characters I have with me, but I can't talk to anybody and I can't leave the area.....

I have the xp patch and it happens, I uninstall the xp patch and it happens. Please help me as this is really frustrating.....

Freezes RIGHT at gold saucer. After the amv, nothing. I don't have the xp patch though.

All i'm gonna say to you guys is that the pc version seems to be glitchy as hell with loads of random issues happening to everyone.

So do what I do and get a psx emulator, it takes a bit longer to setup but I played through the entire game without a single hiccup.
