I was about to have a shot at making something, but I just noticed the canvas size is ridiculously big. If it's only going to be seen on the top and bottom, why does it need to be so massive ?

edit: Having a little bit of a fiddle, I came up with this:

Is that too loud for what you're looking for or? I made it so heavily blurred so it was somewhat in the background.

Oh, is that what it looks like on smaller screens? Oh poo. It looks like the image is either going to get cut-off by smaller screens, or the image will double-over on bigger screens.
I've picked an in-between size for the competition, but if it ends up looking odd then I'll just get the inner's entry resized. ^^

I don't normally enter these sort of competitions for my own reasons, but since I was did have some free time, I figured I'd whip something up.

I think I'll be a bit lenient on that rule since we don't seem to be getting many entries. Tbh, we need all the entries we can get. XD
Though I prefer if people stick to FFVII images.
