announcement New feature: submitting video walkthroughs from YouTube

I like the sound of this feature, but does it have to be our own videos or other videos that are already on YouTube?

The only other question that I have relates to commentary: would videos be rejected on the grounds of the commentator using too much vulgarity/profanity? There's a few that I've seen on YouTube that feature some swearing, occasionally going to the point of truck driver.

Videos with commentary with excessive profanity should be avoided unless there are no other sources of walkthrough/faq style content for the game. The idea is to flesh out the amount of walkthrough/cheat/help content per game by adding visual walkthroughs.

I should add that any form of "cheat", "glitch", "guide", "how to get achievements" or generally any video instructing a user on how to do something non-obvious in a game qualifies for submission, but we should reject walkthroughs that simply show a person playing the game. The purpose is to provide non-obvious information (eg how to beat a hard boss, how to solve puzzles, how to uncover all secrets on a level).

I think the best walkthrough style videos will be ones that show stuff people have a hard time doing and that people might search for:

• How to beat hard bosses
• Finding secrets and hidden places/items
• How to reach secret areas
• How to find Glitches/Easter Eggs
