Yeah this is probably gonna sound a bit noobish but what are the Check all and Uncheck all buttons for in the mod que?

1. Added Check/Uncheck buttons to the Moderator Control Panel (Mods only) which simply checks or unchecks all the tick boxes on a page.
2. Added the same buttons the mod queue, will show to non mods too but obviously won't be of use.

Just a quick hint on an update coming very soon. I try to have a "main" feature in each update. The last update I guess it was default messages, although I don't expect many people to understand it or really take advantage of it. The majority of that releases features were focused on moderator tools and helping them out, so in reality it was a pretty minor update overall.

The next update introduces a major update (in my opinion) in the form of a QUICK EDIT. And by quick, I mean almost instant. I'll bulk up the release with some other features but this is the key function and I promise you WILL love it.

w00t! I love quick edits! I've seen them on a couple other forums, and always appreciated how I could quickly fix up my post without having to forward to the edit page 1000 times. Cheers.

Nice, some of the other forums I visit have a quick edit feature, it's a nice little tool!

By the way, are you going to include the quick edit for moderators editting other members' posts? Of course you'd have to add something that checks if the user is logged in a moderator, if you can do that.

Already been done, and the test versions are working perfectly if I don't say so myself

I love the Quick Edit feature, comes in handy when moderating and when just simply trying to edit my own post

Did he release the new version of NAMFOX, or are you just some kind of BETA tester? If he did release it, is the current link on the first post contain the new version?

He is not a beta tester, but as the functionality of namfox is often best tested by moderators, I often release things to them to test prior to pushing it out to everyone else to ensure that my product is good. It's pretty embarrassing if I release it site wide only to have to ask people to patch up again 30 mins later.

My bad. I thought you did that only for the original release of NAMFOX.

Could you give an estimate on when it will be released to the public? I'm really looking forward to the quick edit.

Around a week or so. I haven't yet coded the other minor features I want to add, and I'm still working out some edits to quick reply. Feel free to throw any suggestions in the relevant thread and I'll try to add them before next week.

Hey guys just to let you know that Artificer is officially added as a developer to this project now. He is a much stronger coder than me having known js for longer, so together we can achieve even more.

We're at the beginning of the project aswell, don't think that updates will just be minor junk from now on. We're working to totally overhaul some major things on the forums and even some other aspects of the site.
