Premier Manager 2002 doesn't work on Windows XP?????

If you havent already recieved an answer, the game does work on XP. I had the same problem myself. Find CD Rom Settings and in one of the folders it will give you an option of changing to Windows 95, 98, ME ,2000

At first FAPM 2002 worked fine with Windows XP. But after completing half a season it began to crash. When I pushed the 'match' button you come into a screen where you can choose between '3D Match', '3D Highlights',....etc. Whenever I push one of those 4 choices the game just quits whitout any report of the problem and after this my desktop appears.
Now, I searched for a solution and I stumbled upon the compatibility-test of Windows XP. This program you can find in the accessories folder of the start-menu and it let you make some changes to the way a program is being run. For instance with this game you can alter the compatibility-mode of the program to any other operating system which the game does support.
Great, now my problem should be gone I thought, but let me be short...I was wrong!
First of all. If your harddrive has been formatted with the NTFS file format, then I suggest never to pick Win 95, Win 98 or Win ME in the list because it will SLOW your system very drastic...believe me and the crash does occasionally still appear.
Offcourse, the more smartest guys and girls will now make the remark to choose the compatibility-mode of Win 2000 because it can handle the NTFS file format. True, but let me put it this way. Either you use the original settings of win XP or you choose the compatibility-mode of win 2000, it doesn't change a thing! The game keeps on crashing and the solution to this problems appears to be that we all change to the FAT32 file format. I think the game has difficulties with NTFS. I hope to get some feedback on this by you people and I've also contacted EA about this.

does anybody know how to install fm2001 on windows 7? i know it's an old game but it's still better than the later, slower versions.
