I have a copy of WWP, and my o.s. is Windows XP Professional. Everytime I want to play WWP, the image or simply doesn´t appear or is terrible, unplayble. Is there any patch I can download to fix it? Or something I can do?

Same prob, i loved this game, got a new comp and now it dosn't work, unless its inverted colors and terrain and backround are pitch black...
(kinda cool, can't see terrain and look like your seeing worms through night vision gogles)

but anyway... any ideas?

dont work for me either, only for the first day it worked but afterwards the colours became inverted and dark.

Ah, yes, I TOO HAVE PROFESSIONAL! and I get the same damned inverted color problem, I have tried running all different compatability modes, I have tried several patches, and nothing works. Very annoying.

There are actualy 2 solutions...
One is to put kazaa of when you play WWP...
if that doesn't work:
start a game, press the insert key, you should see the screen change now in an other unplayable screen...
Now shut down worms, and start it again...
The problem has been solved my friends...

please just kill me now if i am being stoopid but i bought worms wp on the way home tonight - fair looking forward to a game but when i try to play (on my super win xp prof pc)nothing is happening.

sure the title is coming up and the tune is playing but that can just go on FOREVER. any key that i press or mouse function for that matter just clears the screen back to desk top.

i downloaded some patch - made no difference
rebooted pc - made no difference
reinstalled - made no difference
read the manual (!)- made no difference

please dont laugh if i am being daft - i have just spent a mad day helping other people with their pc problems and am now brain dead

i had that problem but i got the upgrade at the official site and now mine works only up to the point where it shows the cake and it explodes then mine goes to the desktop

worms crashes after the title screen for me as well. if anybody has a solution and HAS NOT posted it to the forum (but instead emailed it to the people with the problem), please email it to me as well.

right got it sorted (well for me anyway) remove nemo codec ... as soon as i did that WWP has worked like a charm and no probs what so ever

its kazaa: when you close kazaa the game works fine

Thanx muchly, uninstalling NIMO codecs worked for me. Ah the bliss of playing with my worms again.
