It's the course with the huge mountain where you have to dump fuel. Where do I dump it, and how do I clear this course? Someone please help!

DON'T DROP FUEL/ the "mission control" dude says to do it, but you can complete the mission without doing it. it helps if you have a good co-pilot to help you navigate, but if you've made it through the ravine, you should have no trouble maneuvering around/through the mountain. here's how i did it. after you leave the ravine start slowly gaining altitude, make sure to keep your speed above 70 to avoid stalling. keep ascending to aprox. 4,000 feet and as you approach the mountain veer left and maneuver around and through it just like the ravine. i hope this helps. i tried dumping the fuel to gain altitude and avoid stalling, but it didn't work--so don't bother.

You may also want to land at the OTHER secret runway. There's one for the shinden part, before the huge mountains. But if at the big wall (where you have to go through a narrow space in order not to stall) you turn LEFT and go down near the ground, you will see an entrance to a cave. (If you keep left, really staying by the left side of the valley after the aforementioned gold ring, it should be hard to miss). If you're good at flying through caves (there are tighter ones later in the game. This one is not too bad), go in there and land at its end. It will also get the level over with more quickly. The big advantage is that you never have to fly very high, so you have good control throughout. (It's all downhill from the nouth of the cave).

However, if you use this alternative landing strip you WILL NOT get a new plane at the end of adventure mode. It's a bone but it's true......don't understand why it was programed this way.

Or you can just use boost, if you have it of course.

All I did was boost over it as well. Much easier^_^

I can't find the alternate landing strip. I pass the gold ring called "rock formation" (the one inside of a rock that look like a tunnel), and after that I don't know were to go. I can't find any cave.

I've been trying to get past the dang level for weeks..... any help? I tried each suggestion, all of them didn't work... and what's a rocket boost?

A boost gives you some extra speed which will help you climb over the mountain. In the mode where you go through the nuumbered circles you can buy boost 4 which gives you an unlimited amount making it very easy

Fly over it.

Boost is only available to the BF-109 Custom and the Pulse Jet, it's bought for the Custom with a plane upgrade, something you earn by scoring "B" or better on any given mission.

If you're trying to get over the mountains in the Bi-plane, try upgrading the plane with many lightweight parts, manuvering left/right around the peaks of the mountain to slowly ascend, and finally dumping the fuel when you see the alternative landing site so you can make the final push over the peaks.

Somebody explain to me how to get unlimited boost and how they used this to get over the peak.

Dude just maintain a high AOA (angle of attack) througout the mission it you do it right you don't need to dump fuel at all.
