Ways to Defeat Wiegraf

The battle with Wiegraf is probably the most difficult battle in Tactics. Many say that it is the one that followes (Elmdor); but for that battle, it is just a matter of making Ramza's total HP lower than Rafa's. What ways did you use to defeat Wiegraf other than the one involving Yell ana Accumulate.

Do you have X-Potions? And auto-potion? Do you have all squire skills??? Well simply use this tactic:

Throw away all potions and hi-potions form the menu. (item/list/discard)

Equip auto-potion to Ramza...make him squire...use item as secondary skill...

During battle, stay away from Wiegraf!!! Run around and keep using Yell(on yourself.....) Use X-potions when necessary (sometimes auto-potion doesn't work) Get your speed by yelling in such a way that you have at least 7 turns before wiegraf (look at AT menu) When you feel that you are insanely fast enough use accumulate like 30 times(or more if you want to do 999) After one hit killing wiegraf one hit kills velius (forget his minions) This should guarantee you victory. Make you sure you have enough hp when you attack wiegraf so he doesn't block and counter and kill you....

Why don't you use that??? Or just use this one:

1) Be a lancer and jump from affar so he doesn't counter..(have x-potions)
2)Use rubber boots so he doesn't use lighting stab and use magic ( flare and so)(x-potions....)
3) Or just use ultima and make sure you have X-potions....

my ramza had auto-potion and the 2-swords ability, and a second of squire ability (u can guess how i beat him with my squire abilitys) and in velius I did 2-hits of 999 each

I still don't understand why Wiegraf is so difficult. All I did was equip Feather Boots and Earth Clothes, and Auto Potion and I was ready to go. It only took one summon of Cyclops and Wiegraf was done for.

Because most people dont know about the Earth Clothes trick ^^'

If you use the method outlined by Ultimate then you will have no problems against Velius.

If you dont, then i suggest baiting Velius to use his high level summons on one of your characters, then move the target out of range so no one but the target gets hit. Ive heard you can use Lich on him to deal some nice damage as well.

okay if you dont have auto potion or anything like that all u need to do is be a lancer and then have the one monk ability ( chakra) and lifefront, nad just use jump on him and then he'll run away after u jump him then u have enough distance to run and use chakra to regain ur health plus the extra helth u get from lifefront then just repaet and in 3 or 4 hits u should beat him.

here is the way i doit. takes a little patience but pays off for the lucavi fight. all you need to do is make sure ramza is a squire and has items as a second ability with x-potion already learned. if you have initiative, move away from weigraf and start cast or using yell(psx) or tailwind(psp). I do it until i reach about a speed of 30. by that time you're able to go about 3-4 times before wiegraf can go once. so after getting up to 30 speed work on strength and put your brave to 100 if you want. looks nicer. by this time you are doing hit of about 500 dmg and going 4 times which means for your next fight, your stats stay the same and ramza cleans up. ive always done this so i dont know if wiegraf is tough in his lucavi form. well, best of luck.

That's wat i ment with wat i oulined in my first post in this thread, i used that strategy but i exagerated in the basic skills -.0

i dont have the autopotion skills and i dont have the ninja job and im stuck in tne menu where u can chnge equipments and the abilities...i dont know how to ghet out of this menu...
