Hamedo Sucks!

HAMEDO is a waste of JP! I have a monk named Kenji. I got into about 11 battles to get enough JP to get HAMEDO.(I use Gained JP up) After I go into formation and buy, and set the ability. I get into a battle he gets hit 14 times in one battle. Nothing. I get into another battle. Get hit 9 times. Still nothing. I get into another battle he gets hit 26 times. Still frigging nothing!
To me COUNTER is worth 1200 JP
and HAMEDO is worth 50!

As far as reaction abilties go, Hamedo is down on my list. I say just go for Counter.

And, the number of times it could POSSIBLY work?

The only attacks that will get through Blade Grasp (depending on your Brave)is the second hit of the Ninja's Two Sword and magical attacks. Blade Grasp is a great reaction, but there are alternatives like Half Damage etc.

Its best to stick Blade Grasp on your main party, and save more general damage preventative Reactions for your backline fighters/healers.

All I need is a good warrior and a good mage.
Got to love the faith rod.
A summoner with calculator ability.
Godlike.
I prefer monk's when it comes down to warriors,
so the two sword ability isn't really needed.

Blade grasp works for my black mage like 90% of the time. I seriously think thats better. ( marquis Elmdor has that the second time you fight him and there was no way you could damage him with physical attacks)

I'de go for abadon (i think it's wrote this way). It reduces for all evasions for 50%..it's good you know

Or, go with Sunken State and be untouchable, period.
