	Log in to remove this sponsored message Man, that is some deep thought. I don't think I've ever thought about this or any other game that deep before. Interesting ideas, though. It would be nice to believe that every action taken by the developers had a motive or had an explanation, but I think it's just another bonus part of teh game, like many other games with hidden characters.I'd be willing to bet they added him just because it would be a neat bonus character. However, you have some excellent points. Maybe the Final Fantasy series should be held to those expectations.

	My theory is that Cloud was pulled into Ivalice by the time machine thing set of by Ramza, but pushed at the same time at lifestream. And since Ivalice is at a different time that could explain the "Aeris" person, she could be one of Aerith's ancestors or decendants (which is more likely since that would explain the lost technology thing and how else would "Materia Blade" get on top of Bernevia Volcano if it hadn't been put there previously" thus why she looks like Aerith. Then maybe the reason Cloud keeps having migrains in Ivalice is because Tifa is interfering and trying to pull Cloud back thus interfering with his mind in Ivalice. Thus we can assume the time machine eventual puts Cloud back where he belongs, he now is a lot more experienced to and better able to deal with problems from his experiences with Ramza. Hey its a theory.

	OH i forgot, the reason why Cloud is lvl one is because either the time machine just threw him around so much when he was pulled into Ivalice that he sort of forgets what hes learned (sort of like a paralyzed person who forgets how to walk then learns how to again). Or everyone in Ivalice is just a whole lot better then in Midgar. Maybe they all got gene X*Mako Extreme, Dna reiteration.
