Riovanes Roof (stuck big time)

Hey guys, I've beaten this game about 5 times already, but I'm playing through it again. I'm on Riovanes Roof atm where Malak gets shot and Rafa gets completely enraged and charges the assassins....

Ok, well last time I played through this is remember Rafa got hit once then ran down behind Ramza. Yeah....well not this time. Everytime I play this battle the same thing happens: Elmdor comes down near Rafa and uses Marasumai (sp?), the Draw Out ability on her. Then one assassin uses some Assassin move and puts the Stop effect on Rafa. Then once she is stopped the other assassin goes down to Rafa in one turn and simply attacks her w/ her two swords and kills Rafa.

This is possibly the dumbest thing I've seen put into a game. I dont remember ever having a problem with this part but when I dont even get to make a move with my characters before Rafa dies, is just ridiculous.

If anyone has a suggestion on wtf I can do to stop Rafa from charging or something, It'd be helpful. Thanks in advance.

ummm no. I almost masterd this game so I know that Ninjas are faster than Assasins. Turn at least one of your charcters into a Ninja and have 2 of the best Ninja Swords, then attack one of the assasins and its over, she doesnt even have to die.

All you have to do is hope Rafa is not stopped and she goes away from the assasins. If you don't have high speed or ninjas iI guess there are always summons and high level magic...

Ace, if you've beaten the game 5 times already, you ought to know better than to make the most classic mistake of all time: saving when it asks you if you want to save. You never, ever, ever, should overwrite your previous save game in this case. Its just bad stuff.
