We understand you view Dark Rue, do not think we do not know. Ramza is one of the most noble of Final Fantasy characters, that i've ever seen as well, but again this is people's opinions. Besides even if you weren't against but was not on his side at the moment, if you hear of someone that could be a powerful ally, wouldn't you see if they were worthy of being your ally, see there are many points of view you must approach each one as the way you see Ramza's.

Powerful Ally? The Shrine Knights have much more power than Ramza as you mention. Though Joining Ramza 4 the cause of Good vs. Evil is a worthy one.

Even if people might not know of the Churches corrupted plot. If I was there and knew who Ramza was, I wouldn't be afraid to die for justice like he probubly did.

If the Shrine Knights were so powerful they would have caught and executed Ramza a long time ago.

You can put it in that way... but what about the Soldiers that get bought? They have little choice to either follow Ramza in his Fight or not. At least these people would know the truth.

I think thats the only problem is that Ramza is fightin for good, but people will look at him as Evil, because Religion has this way of manipulating people.

The soldiers that get bought, are hirelings. Many people fight for what they believe in, but even more fight for whatever fills their purses. I know you've probably grown attached to your little army, as well as you should - but the "footsoldiers" as it were, are still mercenaries who fight for you because you paid them to do so.

That's besides the point, though. Personally, I distrust all organized religions (and I'm really sorry if this offends anyone at a personal level; it's just my opinion) so I'd believe the rumours pretty quickly. I'd like to think that I wouldn't be too afraid to sign up for Ramza's army.

I think we as Noble or peasents would not want to meddle in the churches affair. However there are also people with a strong sense of Justice that can relate to what Ramza is doing.

I think If I was a Knight or something back then, I would the one asking Ramza to join his party because when I was bounty hunting his Head he explained to me what the High Priest were doing. And he was just caught in the middle and had to kill one of them. I might not believe him but there is also a chance I would, you just never know.

the whole story sounds very historical. in the middle ages there were two powers. the church and the royal family. the church was more powerful than the royal family. it is the same in this case too. the Catholic church was the only place to turn to for salvation and since they had no other competition for religion they could be corrupt and ask of anything and people would just do it. well they went down during the Black Death because people sought for heir help but they could not help them. the Catholic Church remained in power though because there was still no other religion. then a man name Martin Luther came along and changed all of this. he, like Ramza, did not expect to cause such a monumental movement, but he did. he started the Protestant Reformation and you all probably know the rest. Ramza did not want to cause a dispute he just wanted to uncover the corruption in the church and later in which he found to be the shrine knights's plot. in the meideval case it was a cardinal who sold indulgences and made profit off of it for in himself. Ramza was very much like Luther. he was not one to start a scene but just a guy who did what he thought was right.

That is probably what makes it most interesting is that it is set in a background that could be related to history

Well, the church was pretty good on making Ramza look like a criminal to the eyes of all, and there was huge man hunt for him... and the church was clearly unfair with the people, If I had been a commoner I would have joined just because... It fun and I like every place where I get the chance to chop someones head, dunt care if Namtem or Hokuten!!! And I was a noble, I would have joined just becuz I dunt want the damm Church´s influence on mi vasals... oh yeah... and saving the world!!!

I think mi sence of justice would have also been a good motive for me to join, yeah... I would surely join up

Yeah, people living they're everyday lives try not to get in the way of the church. Im sure they were the one's who made a lot of people believe in they're stories.

To munipulate or whatever. The game really leaves a lot of Questions. To Team up or Oppose him, only the individual would know.

well I guess you would have to experience first-hand what happened to decide on this matter. and yes commoners tried not to get involved in such matters. but what they didnt realize is that they were the victims of such actions of the church. they believed everything that the church had said.

I guess if I did live back when he did... I would create a Powerful Army and cut his head off myself or I would join his side.

Who knows how people in FFT lived, you could have also been a skilled person easily strong enough to get Ramza.

NO! I wouldn't team up with Ramza.He is a good man but if I was a part of his world I would have tried to find MY OWN way to the end...be MY OWN leader.
