	Log in to remove this advertisement I want to develop an FFT clone you can play online, with a full-fledged story and additional classes and junk. . but integrate a player vs player element and have that be the main focus of the game. .any thoughts?

	Might be a few months late for this thread, but I have been interested in this for a while. I am pretty good at C# (about the same with Java but C# ide is better imo). Was planning to load much of the background data (gear) from XML as I recently discovered that is fun and easy. Building from the C# platform could also allow for interesting and unique options such as being able to view character profiles during a fight in a separate window. Other options might be to view bot sight. Basically, when viewing a skill or enemy (before moving), you would be able to see if you could hit him at all, and tha chance of hitting him. This would be nice as I hate moving to attack only to find out I'm 1 space short of attacking or my chances to hit are beyond low. I have not done anything with visual capacities so I would need another developer to work on that, but I could design the battle system. As for online, I have a little experience in that area and it would mostly consist of notifying the user of their turn and notifying the system which character did what. The only hard part is that I have never designed an open network search. All that I've done was between specified IP's.
