i dont know why everyone is saying jackie chan for haschel, if i had to choose anybody i would go with danny trejo(unsure on spelling)

Shana - blake lively
Rose - i like the amy lee idea
Albert -- josh harnet
Lavitz -- dude from terminator series
Haschel -- cho yun fat (but that would make dart the least 1/4 asian)
Kongol -- vin deasle
Miranda - maybe Hillary swank
Meru - dakota fanning or alexis bledel
Llyod - i like jared leto, but his face is kinda too big, or paul walker

If I were going to make a movie of this video game(which by the way, it would be an AWESOME four part movie series so i dont know why noone in hollywood has thought to make it yet) this would be my cast. Ideally, I think we need to think of the latest generation of actors. The ones that by the time this movie was actually made, would be mature enough to make this movie really good.

Dart - Matt Lanter
He is young, attractive, and can easily play a character that can be very romantic with Shana, but also very conflicted on his quest for the Black Monster.

Lavitz - Viggo Mortenson
Viggo Mortenson is the type of guy to play a brave knight. He honors his king, but also respects his friends and family. The only thing that would really suck is the Viggo Mortenson is so bad ass... and it sucks that Lavitz dies before the end of the first disc... so hes not even IN it that much... which is sad

Albert - Russel Crowe
I think that Russel Crowe would be the perfect place for this. He is one of the best actors of all time, and could do great in a Kingly role.

Haschel - Samuel L Jackson
For some reason, I always pictured Haschel as a bad ass black dude... Asian makes sense because of the Martial Arts, but he just strikes me as being black. Dont know why.

Kongol - MR. T
Nuff Said... Hes just a big tough guy... and he could definitely kick ass.

Shana - Kristen Stewart
Honestly, not a big fan of the girl, but she does play shy and timid well... but at the same time can be very stubborn and have a tough streak. Plus, this would get all those crazy twihard fans to wanna see this. Also, I could see her having chemistry with Matt Lanter. Him seeing her as a little sister while she is madly in love with him would work perfectly.

Rose - Milla Jovavich
She is the coolest, most bad ass chick ever. Plus she is used to playing roles where she has powers and knows things others don't. She would be PERFECT as Rose.

Meru - Selena Gomez
I know I know... it would be nice to stay away from Disney sponsored actresses. But think about. She is spunky, can dance, sings, and funny as heck. She is a bucket load of talent, and she would be great in this role. My personal opinion. For the record... This was a hard one to decide on.

Miranda - Ali Larter
She is beautiful, and awesome. Plus she looks like she could be the type to hold a lot inside. I think she would be amazing in this role.

These are just the main characters... I can't even begin to get into all the villains and minor characters... I would need a LOT of time to think of that. But anyways, let me know what you think of my idea!

Watching a legend of dragoon movie in CG, would only just make me want to play the game, a live action version gives whoever would direct it a good chance to make it unique for the screen, the actors could also add their own unique touches on these already interesting characters, yeah?
