best party? - Page 11

once i used kongol dart and rose aginst lenus (not dragoon) dart and rose died and kongol was at i think 200 or so hp it was my turn i did one hit (but i messed up on the addition lol) but i strill killed her it was amazing i owe it all to my pal kongol

however later in the game he kept dying so i use hashel insted

so my best party is dart rose and hashel they never die on me

well shana actually isn't that bad later in the game.. she has the best final spell for dragoons... best attack in the game actually. and if you give kongol a legend casque he's unstoppable, he's got intensely high hp and is amazing with physical attacks... but only use his phys. attacks when dragoon with him (perfect does more dam than his dragon attack)

I've been playing the game for 12 years, yet never finished it, could never beat melbu, but now that i know not to use/train kongol i should do better, any advice on what person i should use instead ?(i always use dart and albert) never know what to do with the awkward 3rd person, help would be great

Rose's stats starts out really top notched, but later on in the games she gets really weak. I personally like Rose, but she's just not that good throughout the third and fourth disk until you get the Dragon Buster. But then her attack gets even higher than Haschel, so if you can endure it she can become valuable in the end game.

That's a great idea!! They should put that in the game if they ever remake it! And I would agree. It's pretty suckish that you can't poison bosses and stuff like that.

I would agree with that. Winglies just can't be afraid or poisoned or anything! It doesn't fit Lloyd's personality. He'd find a way to block the attack before it even reached him! lol

The party I used my first time through was Dart\Rose\Shana/Miranda Thus provided me with good offensive and defensive capabilities especially at D lvl 5 with the white dragon my second playthrough I used Dart/Rose/Meru this set up allowed me to have a more offensive approach while still being able to heal this and Meru being the fastest of all the charicters allowed me to keep status effects up on enemies that could be effected by them my third playthrough I decided to not use rose for once and i stead opted her for hachel and my third member I used meru again I found then to be the most well rounded set up in the game since hachel has no elemental weaknesses but has a very stron physical presense with a decently strong magic presense while meru has strong magic power with a somewhat weak physical presense and you already know darts strengths and weaknesses so I don't have to point those out.
