Most challenging boss???

The boss i found to be the hardest was the divine dragon because of the block staff, or the ghost in fort magrad.

Definitely Faust. With no legendary armours. Against him, I needed Rose Storm active and 3 characters that are protected against 3 of his 4 powerful elemental spells.

Next is Lenus. She's like an earlier version of Faust, where she counter attacks, has brutal damaging magics (and her physicals as well), and attacks you in 2-4 turns in a row. Rose Storm method used here.

Divine Dragon in the mountain would be challenging for Additions only, but using throw magics is very effective. A good supply of 8 Spark Nets in Deningrad does the job.

If we weren't to count Faust(which I did without good equipment and that was rather fun). I would have to go with Lenus. That first fight with here completely throws you off and she can continue attacking over and over without giving you a chance to do anything.

Despite that, though, I'd say that Lenus is definitely the hardest boss. Isn't it ironic that her human form is tougher to beat than her dragoon one? That's the first time a boss's attacks actually start to sting and you have very little time for damage control because of her ridiculous speed stat.

I agree she is quite an annoying opponent but the divine dragons magic far outweighs lenus concerning how much damage is dealt. first time i played this game I had to fight that boss about 15 times before i beat it

definetely haha but it helps if u have enough level ups and ur additions r maxed out. i hated not bein able to use my dragoons

I never found DD any hard. I'm usually never using my dragoons in the first place, though, so the Block Staff weren't any trouble for me.

DD Spirit is annoying as hell though. Divine Cannon without the countdown and was it just me or did he use it like every turn?

Rondo - iirc he was able to use it as many times as it wanted..wether it was in a row or not. I really would like to see how much more deadlier the spirit was in the Japanese version of the game.

The Divine Dragon was never really tough for me either. For me the killer of the game was the freakin Grand Jewel. I hate that thing with a passion. I must have fought that battle ten times my first playthrough before I could defeat it. It wasn't enough that I started out with a Special and then it used the Dragon Block Staff and then killed me by blowing and then the next try I got far enough for it to level me down and then it kept using those blasted magic attacks and killed all my players again. Then then next time I thought I was prepared and still died from the magic attacks. I kept using different parties to see if that helps, but of course it didn't. And then one time I got soooo close, it was in red and I was so excited!! But then it healed itself and I died cuz I ran out of healing items. Oh, that thing got me good. I remember how ecstatic I was when I finally beat it.
