Don't we see Rose get her spirit in the game? Unless I am mistaken that would mean at least one quest. But I think there should be a mix of quests and one or two from Diaz.

I was level 60 during my playthrough when I beat Melbu. It felt strong but not as strong as with the good equipment, Rondo.

Did she really get her Dragoon Spirit in the game? She found Michael, yeah, but I thought she had already received it by then. I could be wrong. I'll look at the dialogue again.

It was in a flashback. She took the dragoon spirit from the Darkness dragon and then Michael appeared from the Darkness dragon's corpse.... I'm not sure why, but I remembered that scene.

I might put a couple of you guys on my personal crew for your thoughts on things such as this.

And as for the rest, I think some of should either find them as well, fight for the right of being a dragoon, or become chosen by the spirit itself.

Rose: Darkness Dragon…. Sorry. We don’t have time. Winglies are mighty. Mighty enough to annihilate us, and the other species. In order to liberate Humans, we have to sacrifice you, Dragon. Now is the time to decide, extinction or war.
Zieg: We choose “war”. The Dragoon Spirit left by the Darkness Dragon, and this newborn dragon will be the spearhead of the war.
Rose: This baby needs a name. Black Burst Dragon, Michael. How about Michael?
Zieg: Rose’s Vassal Dragon, the Darkness Dragoon, the Black Burst Dragon, Michael. It’s a good name. So now we can go.
Rose: Yes. The real war has not started yet.

That's exactly the conversation they had. Hers was obviously the first they found. But it says it was "left by the Darkness Dragon." That could mean that it "donated" it to their cause or killed itself to do so or something. It doesn't necessarily mean they killed it for it. I mean, Dragons are stupid, but I think that there were "kings" of each dragon race, and the kings had the Dragoon Spirit. So the king of the Darkness Dragons somehow died to give Rose that Dragoon Spirit, and since she then had the spirit of the king of Darkness Dragons living with her, giving her power, the rest would obey her because they sensed his presence. Ya know? So the big question is, what does "left by" mean? I don't necessarily think the humans would have killed those very powerful dragons just to get the Dragoon Spirits. They would have lost a lot of people that way.
