Help needed with this one.

In my opinion, this boss have been the most difficult boss I have ever faced in any RPG games. And I have a played a lot of RPG at my time.

It kept healing 16,000 HP at every hit we give them (after the turn is finish) and there's no way we could do 16,000 damage to him (at least, as far as I know).

I have checked the walkthroughs, they kept saying that you need to have infinite Deathblow, which could be a tricky stuff considering I have no idea how to achieve it.

And my friend have suggested that I should use moves to reduce his MP so he couldn't heal. Help could be helpful here.

tsk, hard?.. you mean the Deus' Part boss? on that ship, er, Mahaon right.

it halves it's Hp each turn (as well as yours), right? and it has 20 000 if I remember correctly. don't attack it at first, wait until it's Hp is low enough (2000 or something), then kill it in one turn.

f its the Final Figth againts deus, first, make 2 teams, im not joking do it, now the 2nd team is gonna to figth againts the Spheres that surround deus, beat all of them (i recomend that you visit the Jonhy Shop for Upgrading all the gears to max power, do not buy the fuel units), now equip some one with parts that increases your eficience at figthing, to the other one equip simply all the Death blowers, and for the 3rd equip a mix of heling and the efficience parts, AFTER EVERY FIGTH HEAL THE GEARS WITH CHUCHU, now lets proceed, after you beat all of them Equip on Fei all the Death Blowbers, and for the rest helin parts and eficience parts, that should do the trick, since fei can use Gear version of Yamikei deus should falll in 1 or 2 turns, for his 2nd form that is just fei, use the same strategy and beat the crap ou of him (BTW i was talking about the Hyper Deathblow).

Right ... I think this the one. The part where you begin at the very beginning of CD2.

Does it really halve its own HP? I kept remembering hitting it and it's kept on healing 16,000 hp on its self. So, basically ... don't do anything but to wait for it to kill itself?

Also, does charging your gear (defending and increasing fuel) lead to Infinite Deathblow? How to get the Infinite Deathblow faster?

you must kill it in one turn, when it's Hp is low enough. look:
it has this attack "half everyone's hp". during this attack it's own hp halfes as well as yours. so, if it has 20 000 at the start: first-it will have 10 000, then wait until it uses it again, hence - it will have 5 000, then wait again, and it will have 2500..

it should be easy if you know what you're doing.

yes, I think defend leads to it. sorry, I just don't remember about this. been a long time since I played Xenogears.

Your HP has to be at least Lower Than the 50%, and have the L6 Deathblows avaible.

OK, I got it. I think I tried to hit it, which made it heal itself. OK, now I know what to do.

HP max lower than 50% and have Deathblow level 6 available. Got it. I think I can managed both with gear healing 10% or 30% to keep myself alive.
