Not falming you guys and stuff but, it takes a certain taste for games like Xenosaga that looks like you guys don't have. Xenosaga Episode 1: Der Wille zur Macht has a lot of controversy, well;not a lot but..., and hattred towards it, mainly because of the Cut-scenes-infanate.

RpgGuru-Shion get's hot and KOS-MOS dosen't. Just look at my banner, that has both of them in it.

Well the cut scenes were just to boring....I barely got to fight in the game...And yes I did beat it, and still not alot of fighting.

What are you talking bout Shion was HOT in the first Xenosaga. But Kos Mos looks weird, and less hot..

Anyway, I think this conversation belongs in the Xenosaga: Ep. 1 forum, not here. HDI, it must not take much to veer you off-course. The guy asked for a quick comparison and you go on about how much you despise the game...

KOSMOS always had bluish hair, well it's really platinum though so maybe that's the difference.

Anyway to bring life back to this place anybody find it weird how load times are slower for the PSX version of this game then that of a inferior SNES. I find myself scratching my head on that one.

I guess proccessing data from cd's always takes longer than getting data from cartridges. That was one of the advantages the N64 had over the PSX.

I'v never played the SNES versions of these games. From what I hear, a bunch of games who got remade for the PS have a lot slower loading times then it's origional one. The loading times are very slow on these game but I thought that it is just because it mine was used. Or amd I just going farther in sane?

Yeah I just find it a bit weird how that works out. It probably takes longer to read the data. Still with no improved graphics you would think the speed could be better.

Well maybe the cinema scenes and extras may have an affect on that. There's a hefty amount of extra stuff in the PSX version over the SNES, that could be the reason.

Well the reason why it kinda processes slowly is because they added the Cinemas and allowed you to run in the game....

Actually there are not a lot of new CG scenes in the PSX version. I believe there are like only 2 in FFVI. I forgot it's been a while since I played.

§ :: There are two in FFV and three in FFVI. I found it somewhere in this forum; Clockwork Dragon explained it to me once before. Anyway, I can't imagine that that would cause the loading times take so long. The scenes are lengthy and nicely done, though, and it is on a CD, so that's gotta be it. Man, I just tried out a PS2 for the first time about a week back... those things are loud! See? Because it reads CDs, with even more data than those of the PSX.

Plus I think it could be the fact that quickened the games pace up. Which actually made it a little slower. I mean in graphics they made look a little better but still it kinda reacted slow. Ohhh well its worth having..
