	Log in to remove this advertisement Okay, as you can see I've been temp promoted to spice things up. I've been talking with Mishtram and MacPhisto and each have given me a fair share of help as to bring life into this forum. First thing I'm going to do is separate this forum from what it once was. I do not want this to be considered the Simpsons forum that now allows other animated discussions. This is, now and hopefully forever will be the Animation Forum. Anime goes in Anime, everything else goes here. I am also not going to allow just comedy series. If you want to discuss old-school cartoons like Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers G1, Scooby Doo, G.I. Joe, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Bright to some of the newer series like Spongebob, anything on Adult Swim, etc... feel free to discuss. I am also wanting to start fresh with discussion, meaning even if there is a thread in Tv, I'm working on them to get closed. Not sure if I would want the threads moved here for historical value or kept in Tv since they were also apart of the history there. I think remained in Tv would be best. Ideas. Suggestions. This is an open forum and I'm all ears at this point. -------------------

	Well, first there is the boring stuff like header contests/whatever that you could do to bring people to the forum that are probably not aware it exists or that people actually post in it. Although, in my opinion doing something like the TV Shows forum header would look much better and skip the whole process of having a bunch of shitty entries vs a few really good ones. Otherwise, I think what's going to stop activity is having the reputation of being 'The Simpsons' forum. Put all of that into one thread and it should be good and done. We can't really force activity in here because that really isn't a community at all, just some random members with their forced exchanges. I would think that as time progresses, people will find this forum and see the may animated shows they watch (Family Guy, South Park, etc.) and start to post. Until then, I guess we just have to wait as people find their way over here and start to participate.

	Can't make a dead forum any deader. Cleaning is done. I didn't intend to clean as much as I did, not from a forum that was this small to begin with, but once I started, no offense to anyone but I was seriously shocked and disgusted at how poorly this place looked. The amount of game threads was disgusting. This forum was literally built and thrived on them. Far too many were allowed. Those threads are now all gone now. To those who participated in them, my condolences because yes, I adjusted posts. They should have been deleted anyways after they were closed (most weren't), and some of them had duplicates and member-specific versions just to compete with someone else. 32 page forum now reduced down to 24 just by deleting game threads. Yeah. Pretty pathetic I'd say. I closed pretty much everything too. If it's closed, it doesn't need to be bumped. I left a few Simpson related threads opened, archived them in the new Index, but if it's closed, it's there just for the historical aspect of what the forum once was. A spam forum. -------------------

	^Done. Did one better by finding a Bats/Joker combo. Score! About the header competition/pick of the week. Perhaps once the forum establishes itself, if it does at all, then something like that could be a draw. I could see voting for some random, forgotten series to be put up there to spark some interest in it. -------------------

	I am starting to like this forum, glad it got a Temp Mod so we can expand it more! Anyway, how about instead of just having shows about the TV Shows, I would like more discussion threads. I know it is pretty hard to discuss animated comedies in general, because it is a pretty limited topic, but they are usually pretty interesting. ------------------- last.fm

	Hm, what about things like voiceover actors, animation studios, animation styles, individual animators (Jack Kirby did in-between animation on Popeye prior to getting into comics and introducing Captain America with Joe Simon), animation techniques, use of sound effects, use of soundtracks, benefits and woes of stock animation... ------------------- Books&Lit Comics Transformers: The Movie Gundam Collectibles
