marvel X-Force

I'm sure we recall the 90s series that spun out of the remnants of the original run of New Mutants and introduced to Cable and Deadpool. MUCH later in the run Warren Ellis and Whilce Portacio came onto the series.

In more recent years since Messiah Complex we've had another volume written by Yost and Kyle with art by Choi and Crain. The cast has included X-23, Archangel, Vanisher, Domino, Wolfsbane, Warpath, and Wolverine as the leader given covert missions determined by Cyclops.

We now have the series relaunched and written by Rick Remender (FEAR Agent) with a line up of Archangel, Deadpool, Psylocke, Fantomex, and Wolverine leading again. But this time they really "don't exist". Previous series Cyclops kept them secret from the other teams. This time he ordered Wolverine to disband them, and Wolverine agreed... all while keeping their continued activities secret even from Cyke....

And yes, I know there's an older thread, but that one was last active in '03 with a bump in '05.

We including Uncanny X-Force in the mix? Because it's only about 13 issues in or so and it's kicking arse, and likely will have a lot to do with what occurs in Schism.

You should really consider reading the current Remender series, it's really quite good.

Mac, that would be incredible. But, then again, I love me some Prince of Orphans and Fat Cobra.

Really thought Schism #1 was pretty watered down and couldn't hold my interest. That said, has there been a delay with the last issue of XF? My subs might have skipped an issue. ;O

X Force n' Factor are two I anticipate reading every time, though i've taken to New Mutants as well.

I actually swiped the X Force name for my league in DCUO. Yes, I mixed my Marvel with my DC.

Wolverine-Apocalypse from AoA was BADASSSS!

I just checked out the First 4 issues of Uncanny X-Force and was very pleasantly surprised. I think it's an awesome group, absolutely outstanding. Does it continue strong? Should I check out the whole series, or just certain parts of it?

Honestly, I think it would be hard for me to dislike anything that had Wolverine and Deadpool in it.

As long as Deadpool wasn't played by Ryan Reynolds. Shudder.

The entirety of the run is pretty *bleep*ing awesome, to be honest.
