Stormwatch is actually one from the Wildstorm imprint. Typically a UN sanctioned team of heroes which also delved into a decent amount of Black Ops and espionage in it's history with characters like Backlash from Team 7 and all of Bendix's nasty stuff going on. Authority sprung from it, and Ellis spent a decent amount of time on the series.

Blackhawk started out as a group of fighter pilots from various countries in WWII as it was introduced by Quality in the '40s before DC acquired the company. Eisner created the character so there's a certain pedigree there.

Blackhawks is written by Mike Costa, who is currently doing the Transformers at IDW. I'll definitely be picking it up, at least to see what it's like, because I REALLY enjoy Costa's work. Only other one that sort of interests me is Sgt. Rock, others I'll pass on I reckon.

Booster Gold is also missing from the list, which is maddening.

I also just picked up Justice Society, so that's lame too. Ah well, there's enough new stuff for me to put that money toward instead.

Only 3 titles that I'll definitely be getting:

-Hawkman
-Captain Atom
-Blackhawks

Might also pick up Aquaman and a Superman and Batman title each.

Wow saw the list where is Captain Marvel aka Billy Batson not Shazam and why does Captain Atom get a book. I also don't like that they took Red Robin's book off and put him in Teen Titans where he looks like Black Condor. Well at least Fury of Firestorm, Justice League, and Grifter looks good ... I'll just buy some of the first issues to see if they're any good and too bad alot of the other teams books are now gone for now maybe.

He looks fascinating to me, one of the books I'll defnitely be picking up.

Captain Atom is an incredible character, and his original solo series is amazing. That said, JT Krul is writing this new series, so my excitement is far less than it should be for said book.
