In one of the most recent issues (98 or 99), I thought Kirkman confirmed in the Letters column that that wasn't likely. Though, I suppose it's possible since one of the upcoming "Something to Fear" issues consists of a blacked out individual holding a crossbow. The previous three issues had similar characters holding weapons as well, but none of them were relevant to the content of the book.


Anyway, came to this thread to say I'm FINALLY up-to-date with this book. About goddamn time, right? Bring on #100. I can't wait to see what Kirkman does with it. The local shop is having a contest at release where people dressed as zombies have to hold their hand on the outside window all day to simulate a zombie attack. Last one standing gets a Tony Moore signed Image First (I think?) It's something signed by Moore, that I know. It's gonna be sweeeet. I'll share pictures next month.

Lavitz, I dunno, man. It's a bit of a crapshoot atm on the higher issue numbers as those are a bit easier to find. I saw individual issues at Heroes for no less than 10 bucks each. I'd go ahead and give it a shot if that's all you want to do with it.

They must be in poor condition because I'd pay $68 for 1-10 in a heart beat...unless you meant $68 each, which is still kind of cheap for 1-6.

I knew $68 sounded ridiculously low, even though it's a huge return on initial investment as is.

I'll probably pick up the Adlard one to match the rest of the Something to Fear arc sometime.

Granted, 11 covers or whatnot... some pretty high ratio variants. And I have one friend who apparently ordered 1000 copies as he knew he'd get his money back on the variants.
