Deathstroke vs Deadpool

I just tried to find out who's the original character, but it proves inconclusive on the internet which is a shame since I really like taskmaster.
I used to like Deathstroke a lot, but he used to be a planner who laid traps now he seems to have morphed into 'Baddest bastard alive' which is frankly nonsense. Stabbing Wally West while Wally is moving at super speed? Bullshit, Barry Allen would have dropped him into a volcano while he was considering it. Deathstroke's been built up to be a big bad villain with little to back it up. <Sigh> Original Deathstroke was proper scary.
