Need new woofers for my Klipsch Pro Media v.2-400

Does anyone know what would be the best match for woofer replacements on my Klipsch v.2-400 system?
Both of the (sub)woofers have dried out surrounds. These surrounds look like foam not rubber. I take it that rubber surrounds are better? The woofers measure 7" across. I don't have any specs on these woofers like the weight of the magnets and frequency response. Does anyone have the tech specs on this system?
I bought these in 1999 after reading about them in Hardcore Magazine, later named Boot Magazine. They served me very well over the years.

Just a thought as it can be hard to match the right specs in these consumer kit offerings.

I like this idea better than a mismatched woofer. It seems like it would be difficult to install the surround rubber so it works right but I will give it a try. Thanks for the tip VeGiTAX2. Funny thing is I was on simplyspeakers looking at some woofers to buy. Like this one below.

Sub would generally be the frequency response level but from what I know woofers are pretty much woofers no matter how you cut it, even mid-range would be mid-woofer in that case.

Always fun trying to figure out what on earth to pair up but if your original cone and speaker are still in good condition there's not a ton of reasons to start playing mad scientist with the design. From what I hear, replacing the surround isn't incredibly difficult but it does take a bit of a steady hand.
