Fisherman's Bait review
Tons of locations
Great selection of bait
Fun with two players
Unlike fishing in real life, it is not tediously boring
If you don't have a dual shock controller you will be in for an extremely long game. Just like fishing in real life, it can get frustrating when you loose the big one.
The graphics on this game could use a little bit of help. It seems as though the fisherman is just pasted on top of the lake, but once you get to a cut scene where the fish is swimming in the water, you will swear that you were watching Fishing with Rollin Martin. Still, like many people as well as I believe, a great game can certainly make up for some what choppy graphics.
There is not too much audio skills used in the process of making this game. Other than the occasional Fish On or Line Break, you don't hear much except for a little background music that only dogs with hearing aids can hear. Still what you can hear is well put together, and even kind of catchy and will stick in your mind.
The controls for this game are the most simple controls that one could imagine, they are extremely easy. That is unless you do not have a dual shock controller, then you will have blisters on all over your fingers just after one three hundred seconds run off fishing, and unlike some fishing games you will not spend forever pulling in a lunker.
With out a doubt this is a fun game. It take about two seconds to learn but many hours to master, especially when you need to learn how the fish react under rainy conditions with water temperature of under fifty two degrees and an outside temperature of more than seventy five degrees in a depth of under twelve yards. That is unless you want to just play and not try to catch a fifteen pound bass. Either way it is easy and fun no matter what you catch.
Fisherman's Bait will leave you begging for more, after you catch a huge bass, you just want to catch another, then another, then another, then once you turn off the game off, you will want to play forever. It is just all around a great game that you will want to play over and over.
There are not too many cheats for this game and the ones that are for this game really don't change any aspect of the game, although when you get the new lakes, it does add even more fun to this game so I guess that might be a cheat so I guess I would give it a
ten by default, I think.
Overall this is a great game and is extremely fun, I would recommend this game to anybody, the only downfall to this game is that you will need a dual shock controller, and it might be more fun if there were more options in this game, but I don't know if they would help out this game too much.
