+Off the ball control great
+Lower Division Teams,Now i can play a Peterborough United
+Brilliant Kits, even for lower teams like Yeovil
+Better Season mode
+Practice Mode, great!
-Players faces arn't that exact
-More Depth, it had all the leage cups like FA cup and the Swiss cup, but what about the International cups like Euro Cup, World Cup and the copa nations!?
-Bin Prestige Points, if you got the money buy'em!
The best footie game ever. And now so much better. With the off the ball control it's just that easier to pass or cross. How can PES 4 get better than that. The lower Leagues are a brilliant feature, and the exact kits-even better. The Graphixs are da bomb, the best i ever seen-and i'm not exagerating. This will beat PES 3 which i played the other day, and theres no challeng in it. But to stay better than PES 3/4 have more depth, The international cups would be nice and try to map the players faces better. But a brilliant all round game! Keep it up EA!
FIFA Football has been ahead of the other football games like Pro Evolution Soccer for years but with new footie games coming out FIFA 2004 had to be a success. And it was.
The first main new feature you would have noticed is the Off The Ball play. This is playing football off the ball and if used successfully can be the key to winning a game. Off The Ball command is when a player on your team has the ball and starts to slow down and walk. Now you can command the player that is walking slowly aswell as other teamates that are on the pitch. So for example if Cristiano Ronaldo had the ball and...
-Great Career mode
-Hundreds of teams to choose from
-Good passing and scoring system
-Almost impossible to run past a player
-A few players and teams are missing
-No world cup
FIFA 2004 is an improvement from the past FIFA games. Overall it has good gameplay and a great Career Mode. The only thing that I didn't like about the career mode is that the transfer market is unrealistic. This is because computer controlled teams have no AI outside of the pitch.
There is also a lot of options of what your going to do. You can create a tournament, play career, or just play friendlies. In Career you can be a low league team or an upper leaugue team, It's all up to you.
So if your a football(soccer) fan I advise you to go pick up a copy of FIFA 2004
High detail, carreer, practice mode, realistic (and somtimes funny) booking clips, players to cross to, teams are updated, commentary, cheers. The bad:
Some players do not look like themselves, lower teams unjustly make it to finals, dull and repetitive goal celebrations.Summary:
I think this game is an extreme hit compared to FIFA 2003, but still has some features missing. For example, some Manchester United players don't look like themselves (for example Carrol, O' Shea, Richardson, the Neville twins among others). I noticed that many lower star teams unrealistically play in semi-final and final matches. The goal celebrations are dull and repetitive. The clips are replayed and you just get bored of them or these players don't celebrate like they do in the real life. But I do have to admit that the attacking is much better than the previous versions of FIFA. N...
Lower division teams, something I have been looking for.
'Off the ball' tactics.
Graphics are cool, and everything is pretty sharp.
Sometimes it can be quite hard to score, the back line can be hard to break through at times, but if you use the right tricks you can get passed it. Hehe.
The only other thing that could have really been improved quite a bit is the commentary, it's just not really up to scratch, and is kind of a let down.
Well what can I say? They have Blackpool in the game! What else does a game need? Well of course some more things, but that is a good bonus. (Oh and the other lower division teams). The detail in the game is extraordinary, they have both home and away kits for each team, with sponsors, and every little detail. (I love detail) Not every player looks like they do in real life (lower division mainly), but we can't really expect everyone in the game to look exactly like they should, that would have taken up way too much time. So I won't hold that too much against them!
Fifa is definitely the mo...
Graphics, goals, crowd, career.The bad:
Yeovil Town-all the same.Summary:
OK, this a brilliant game apart from the fact of Yeovil Town. Now I support Yeovil and to be honest, i wasn't impressed. They are all the same in looks and were missing a few players (i.e. Kevin Gall, Gavin Williams). Fortunately I found Kevin Gall playing for his former club, Bristol Rovers but Gavin Williams isn't on the game. But I must admit, the game featuring all the other teams from the three divisions is a great idea. This makes the career mode fantastic. And plus you get to sign deals and there is objectives in the game. Also the transfer market has FINALLY been bettered. You now g...
