This game has all of the normal features of Myst and Riven, plus it has more!The in-game movies are realistic, and the plot of the game is well-made.The bad:
I am not a fan of the game's maneuverability though. You will find in situations like the energy puzzle, that running back and forth all over the island can be a hassle with the slow movement. I've also been having some frustrations with finding things, since they don't stand out too well.Summary:
Overall, I think this game is worth the price. However, I would only reccomend this game to people that have plenty of time, and plenty of patience(I suggest anger management courses after you beat the game!!).
Also, I suggest you stay away from on-line walkthroughs, as they will only confuse you in the game, and it is a whole lot more fun to play the game without any outside help.

This is a "must-buy". If you have played the predecssors, Myst and Riven, then all you need is an assurance that it is a worthy successor, with some of the frustrating aspects toned down. If you are new to the series, this is an OK place to start as it does not rely on knowledge of the rest of the saga, which has been a consistent best-seller.
